I beamed as I stood between George and Tj for a picture.

"Even in heels, you're still so short." Seyi lamented holding the phone.

I rolled my eyes. "Just take the darned picture."

"I just did" He said with a smirk and handed the phone to me.

" Seyiiii!!! " I screeched and almost ran after him with George amd Tj laughing as they looked the picture with me.

"Easy tiger." I felt a pair of arms wrap around me.

I fumed. "He's so dead."

Matthew let out a laugh and turned me so I was facing him.

"Stop frowning." He said smiling down at me. "Did I tell you that you look absolutely beautiful today?"

I grinned. " Only about 5 times already."

"Well, I'll say it again. You look really beautiful Ruby."

"Ugh... You guys make me want to puke." Juliet said next to us, gagging.

" Oh please. Like you and Seyi aren't worse." Matt rolled his eyes.

" Yeah, yeah. I need my bestie now. Piss off." She said grabbing my hand.

Matt flipped her off and winked at me as she dragged me away.

"Where are we going, Julie?"

" We need to take more pictures." She lamented.

" More? All the ones we've been taking all day nko?"

" Not enough"

She took me towards the wall that had been beautifully decorated for this very purpose.

"Hey Naomi!" She called out. "Please take our picture?"

"Okay" She collected the phone from her  and posed with me.

Soon after, we took a couple of selfies with Naomi and the guys. Did I mention that Julie is a selfie freak?

While reviewing them, I felt someone staring at me and looked back. I didn't see anyone at first, then, I saw them.

"I'll be right back." I said to the group while still looking at them and left the group.

I saw Gabe tense up a bit once he noticed I was coming towards them. His companion was typing on his phone.

"Didn't expect I'd see you guys here." I said with a small smile.

James looked up once he heard my voice.

"Hey Ruby." He pocketed his phone.

"Hey James."

"Congratulations on your graduation"

"Thanks...and you too." I looked at Gabe whose eyes was trained on the floor.

" I'll...let you guys talk." James said and walked off.

It was silent and tense for a while.

He cleared his throat, looking everywhere but at me. I was waiting...

"Um...Ruby." He sighed. "Congratulations...on your graduation."

I nodded slowly. " Uh, yeah...yeah thanks. And you too. Heard you guys did yours last week."

He nodded. " Yeah." He finally looked up at me. " Um, you look really beautiful." He said smiling softly.

I smiled. "Thanks, you don't look too bad yourself."
