Me and Draco got our Hogwarts stuff and we're getting ready to go to leaky cauldron. We walk and i see my dad. Me and Draco share a look knowing that it was the best time to ask before we leave
"Dad are you sure your ok if we go. We could stay we don't mind" I say looking at him as Draco nods
"No sweetie go you both go your friends probably want to see you guys and i think a certain raven hair boy wants to see you" I hear Draco laugh and i nudge him and give my dad a stare trying to ignore the blush creeping up to my cheeks
"First Draco now you" They just nod as we all laugh. I go to hug him "Bye dad i'll miss you"
"I'll miss you too" he walk to draco and embraced him in a hug he was surprised but hugged back and whispered something to him
Draco's pov
Remus hugged me and i hugged him back in surprise
"Take care of her for me please" I nodded and we let go. I wasn't there for her for 2 years. 2 years she was hit with the cruciatus curse. I should have been there and I promise myself to protect her. We walked out and I grab y/n's hand she smiled at me and we continue walking. I can't lose her.
y/n's pov
We got to leaky cauldron said by to my dad we put our stuff in the rooms and walked down "y/n ! Draco!" we turned and see Hermione and Ron we went to them and hugged them
"How are you guys? how as your summer?" Draco asked but before he could answer we see an orange cat chasing Ron's rat
"I'm warning you Hermione, Keep that bloody beast of yours away from scabbers, or I'll turn it into a tea cozy"
"Ron let's calm down plus i think Hermione would know how to turn it back" Draco said trying to break them up
"It's a cat Ronald what do you expect? It's in his natural" Hermione said
"I mean she not wrong Ron" I said but they kept ignoring me and Draco
"A cat? Is that what they told you? It looks more like a pig with hair if you ask me"
"That's rich coming from the owner of that smelly old shoe brush." I snicker but cover it with a cough as Ron glared at me "It's all right Crookshanks. You just ignore the mean little boy."
