"Here, is that any better ?" The nurse asks me as she injects me with pain killers.

"Yes, thank you." I say.  She leaves and the room and I get on my phone and play some games to occupy myself. Apparently there was a high speed chase, and I just so happen to get caught in the middle of it.

"Excuse me, what room is Cyrus Aarons in?" A voice from outside of my room asks.

"It's right here." A nurse says. Immediately my room door bursts open, revealing Ariel. She runs up to me and hugs me.

"Oh my god, are you okay?!" She asks me frantically.

"I'm fine. Don't worry so much." I tell her.

"How could I no be worried?! You could've been killed!"

"But I didn't get killed. That's gotta count for something, rug?" I say. Why do I feel like this happened before?

"Anyway, I'll be discharged in a few days, so don't stress over it so much, okay?" I say. She then looks away with a sad expression.  I then pull her closer for a hug.

"I promise I'm okay. It'll be bad for the baby's health of you keep stressing."

"I guess you're right. I'll be back tomorrow. I love you." She says. She the pulls me in for a kiss.

"I love you too." I say.  She leaves the room. She looked as though she was crying before she got here. I guess she thought I was in a worse condition than I am.

A few minutes after ariel leaves,  I hear my door open again.

"Sup cyrus? " I hear.

".… Jinx? " I ask. She pops out from behind the corner smiling.

"What are you doing here?" I ask. She shrugs her shoulders and gives me a hug.

"I've got a thing for modeling today, but when I heard what happened to you I came here as fast as I could." She tells me.

"Thanks for showing up, but I'm fine now. I'll be getting out in a few days."

"That's good. Are you gonna be doing anything when you get out? I thought maybe we could hang for a little bit." She says.

"Actually, I was gonna try get Ariel's dad's blessing to marry her. "

"Ooh, while we're on that topic, I heard that you're gonna be a daddy~" she says, poking me in the arm.

"Yeah. I found out on christmas. Ariel's dad found out and almost killed me. " I say.

"How far along is she?"

"She 3 months now."

"Have you even proposed to her yet?"

"…...... no." I say, looking away. "I'm planning to though."

"Knowing you, you'll probably go all out planning it. Now how are gonna go about trying to get her dad's blessing? I mean apparently the dude hate you." She points out.

"I'll think of something." I say. This satisfies her and gets out of her seat.

"Alright well good luck with that. I'll talk to you later." She says, giving me a hug. She leaves the room and I start to think of ways to get ariel's father's good side. .

I finally get out of the hospital and am currently in the car with ariel's dad.

"Ariel is very worried for you." He says.

"I guess that shows how much she cares for me, huh? " I say proudly.  He looks at me from the corner of his eye and shakes his head.

"But I do not care for you." He says. I laugh awkwardly and slowly turn away. He then pulls up to a bar.

"We have drink before we go home." He tells me. I shrug my shoulders and walk into the bar. This is a good chance to get his blessing. I just have to get him a little drunk.

Okay it's been an hour, and he's still not drunk. This man can really hold his liquor. Screw it, better now than never.

"Um...sir....I-i was wondering if you-" I say, but get cut off by a guy arguing with a girl.

"Let go of me you ass!" The girl says. I'm guessing they're a couple that's about to break up. The guy isn't letting up. Ariel's dad gets up, but I stop him and go towards the guy instead.

"Hey dude, the girl obviously doesn't want you messing with her." I say to the guy. He shoves me and tells me to fuck off. I sigh and punch him in the face, knocking him out.

"There, he won't be messing with you for a little." I say to the girl. She talks me and walks off. I walk back over to Ariel's dad.

"Sir, I would like you're blessing to marry your daughter. If you don't want to, I understand." I say.

"I like how you handle drunk idiot, maybe you're not pansy after all. I give you small chance to prove you're worth my daughter's time. If not, then forget it." He tells me. I quickly nod.

"I promise I won't let you down sir."

Sorry it took so long to update. I've been busy with golf and school.
