Mihawk didn't really have much of a boat. It was more like a floating plank of wood. The trip to his, vaguely described, gloomy island was silent. Even with company it was silent.

After Luffy and Law escaped, another yonko showed up and stopped the war. (Y/n) didn't know the name at the time but she knew the face. 3 yonkos? A rouge warlord..... mystic devil fruits. She was the second person to head back to the plaza after Doflamingo.

She stood underneath the podium and folded her arms waiting for the fight to begin again. Shanks stopped the fight before (Y/n) could squeeze more money out of Sengoku.

"How many weapons do you possess after the fight?"

"Huh?" (Y/n) turned breaking out of her trance. She turned around fully and looked up. She sat behind Mihawk's chair and kicked her feet in the water waiting for him to repeat himself.

"You kept pulling weapons out of a small book. Tell me about that...."

"Oh... um one of the bounties I claimed a few years back collected like ancient items and other bullshit. I sold most of everything else but the book never sold. I assumed since it was empty. I tried writing in it with a pen but it stole it and a picture reflected the image of the pen. As if I put a sticker into the book,.

"So it takes inanimate objects and holds it for you?"

"Basically. The book has been taken from me a few times but it doesn't allow other people to take things out. Only I can place things inside and pull things out. I guess it's those who have written their names at the front." She flipped the book to the front and showed the name she wrote when she was 19."

Mihawk was confused at her explanation but was still intrigued. (Y/n) pulled her tattered ribbons from out of the book slowly. She then placed it back in. The two could see her ribbons folded together nicely. She showed the book to Mihawk who took it in his hands.

"Oh it's actually in there." He mumbled reaching. (Y/n) could hear his hand scraping against the fake paper of the book. He pulled the feather from off his hat and the book rejected it. She could hear the pages wrinkle following his frustration. He handed the book back to its current owner. She gently plucked the feather from its hold and handed it back.

"I saw you only had 3 weapons left in there."

"Technically one. The fire arm doesn't have any ammo left and the ribbons as you saw isn't gonna hold shit. All thats left is the staff because I refuse to lose it."

"Some sort of attachment?"

"Yes. It was a set pair and I lost the other on a mission. They were my favorite. We were unstoppable." She sighed getting mad at Law all over again

"We will get you more weapons then. They will be discounted."

"I have to pay you? Even if you're trying to da-" (y/n) stopped herself knowing her neck would be rung if she mentioned her sister to him.

"Well you know. You're learning how to strengthen a weapon. Do you truly not know anything about Haki?"

(Y/n) turned around annoyed he was asking again. As if the answer has changed in the past hour he has asked. Mihawk forfeited the conversation after catching onto increasing irritation the bounty hunter collected. Who knew she could be so touchy?

The boat came to a stop at an old gothic island. Sitting at the top was a Victorian manor that was dimly lit. "Before we go any further let me warn you. I have an unwanted guest. She sort of hangs around." He muttered dragging her up a set of stairs.

"So you are hiding a girlfriend?" (Y/n) snickered knowing Niveah wouldn't be too happy with him juggling her instead.

He didn't respond but the air did get tense. (Y/n) picked up and quickly understood that unwanted was a serious adjective.
