(Y/n) smiled to herself watching as the Heart Pirates conversed. She was in her own group exchanging unflattering stories about their captain.

"So he just doesn't sleep right?" She smiled sipping a bit of her ale.

Sachi shook his head and looked up. "If you needed something from the captain, odds are he's awake reading. He sleeps only about 2 or 3 hours a day. You think those bags are just decorative?"

(Y/n) laughed knowing full well about his refusal of sleep. "He doesn't have a bed to sleep in?"

"I mean he does but... we suspect he has some weird form of insomnia" Ikkaku smirked.

"Okay okay. So I just wanted to ask right. How did you two meet up again? Because when we got the warlord message he didn't really give us much more information than 'I got the hearts' "  Penguin mocked Law's voice to a drunken tee. (Y/n) was tipsy enough to be convinced that it was perfect.

She giggled to herself and smiled. "It was a year after the paramount war, back when I was still a bounty hunter. We met on some island I don't remember the name. He probably knows it... He was collecting hearts and I asked him what for. He refused to tell me so I drew my own conclusions. I thought he was some sicko hoarding hearts for a collection. So I did what any concerned citizen would do. I caught him and put him in some cuffs then took him to my boat. I spared him from the marines because- well..... that's between me and him." She lied completely forgetting the reason.

"You beat him? Are you seriously that strong?" Penguin gapped his mouth.

"Ah yes." She beamed. "But back then he was toying with me while I was being extra serious. I'm sure if I spar with him again I'd win."

A careful set of eyes watched as (y/n) spoke, unable to pay attention to the conversation of his peers. His lips raised in slight disgust as she bragged about beating up their captain.

The crew began talking amongst themselves and she tried her best to stay in the conversation. She knows they trust her as far as they can throw her. But she doesn't mind talking to people. Even if the only thing they care about is stories of their captain. She took another sip avoiding the awkward glares people are giving her.

She looked down at the elephant skin on the floor and traced along to subtle wrinkles and folds.

An orange jump suit stood in front of her and crouched. She glanced up at the polar bear mink and sat up again. "Do you often isolate yourself?" He smiled sitting next to her.

"I'm not going to force a friendship. It's the first day right? It's easier to keep to myself."

"Exactly. For what it's worth I like you. So if you have any issues you can come to me." He put his thumb up and she grinned sheepishly.

"Thank you."

"Anything for the crew." He patted her head gently and stood back up.

She smiled even wider. Whether it be the alcohol or her desire to be seen as more than the woman the captains brought, she was glad someone extended a hand.

The eyes that watched his vice captain sucked his teeth annoyed at how easily he fell for her charms. The same bounty hunter that has amassed almost 1 billion in bellies from defeating opponents. Before they get to the submarine, someone's going to have to set her straight. There's no way a woman that dangerous is allowed onto that submarine.

The tipsy woman turned her head sensing a glare. The eyes quickly closed and faded into the crowd.

Law slowly stood up and called for the attention of his crew. "We are going to regroup with the strawhat. No one is too drunk to walk right?"
