Aurora Butterfly-Diaz was given an assignment to choose a topic she can make a book about, and she chose the queens of Mewni. Aurora did research on all her ancestors who were queens before her. So this book is all about the past queens of Mewni.

Hekatia's wand is a torch, and her cheek marks are the three-faced moon. As Meteora's daughter and Eclipsa's mother, she became known for going too far in her studies on dark magic. It is believed that she learned how to communicate with the dead, control them, and even reverse death! However, it will never be known if it is true or not as she tried to destroy all the pages of the book about it. When she was questioned about it, all she said was "There are things that should remain misunderstood"
