"This road leads back down to the strip mine, where we started", Dante said

"Oh, so we took the shortcut", Nate stated, annoyed

"It's the scenic route, smart ass, we're almost there", Dante said as then multiple gunshots rang out

"Who's shooting at us", Nate asked

"How do I know, must be poachers, they come up here all the time", Dante stated

"Or maybe Guerro's men", Ella said

"No, I told you both, Guerro don't come up here", Dante stated, making both Nate and Ella roll their eyes as they kept shooting, as the goons fell, the three continued forward, soon reaching another fence, this time, there was barbed wire on the top.

"Since when did the IOA start using razor wire", Nate asked

"You know how many looters they get down here each year", Dante asked

"Didn't keep you out", Nate said

"Oh yeah, that's because I'm special... don't go there, alright", Dante said

"I didn't say anything", Nate said

"You had that look in your eye", Dante stated

"I would've said something", Ella mumbled as both she and Nate opened the fence, Dante was of no help at all.

"Here we are, whaddya think, huh", Dante asked

"Mass grave... what did you expect us to say", Ella muttered

"They dug up over 60 of the poor bastards, that's a lotta bones", Dante stated, holding up a helmet

"Spanish... how old", Nate asked

"You tell me", Dante said

"Well, usually the regimental insignia are either on the front of the helmet or the back, right above the crest", Nate explained

"Yeah, I knew that", Dante said

"If you did, then why are you asking us how old it is", Ella muttered under her breath

"16th century, New Spain, these guys died a long way from home", Nate stated

"They didn't just die, they were murdered", a voice stated, turning around the three saw a woman come down towards them by rope

"Chase, what are you doing out here", Dante asked

"Oh, I don't know, you said you were going out to get supplies, and seeing how you never lie to me, I followed you", Chase explained

"Oh, you followed me, well, it's not like I don't have enough problems", Dante stated, before stopping as Chase's attention was turned to both Nate and Ella, "they are... Nathan Drake and Ella Davis, they're buddies of mine from the old days",

"Nate, call me Nate", Nate said

"I'm Ella, nice to meet you", Ella greeted

"Nope, neither of you are one of Dante's buddies, no prison tats", Chase stated

"You guys wanna tell me what you're doing up here", Chase asked

"Sure, you'll be the first to know, once we find out", Nate stated

"Uh, no, you didn't", Chase said, they went back and forth with bickering until the sound of gunshots rang out
