To the Temple

"Guys, this is my grandfather's truck, he's here", Chase said, after arriving at the temple, the three found an old truck.

"Wait, Chase, this's been here for weeks", Nate stated

"Yeah, I know, I know, it's ok", Chase said, sounding a bit upset

"You sure", Ella asked

"I know why he didn't tell me, he came here alone, because he knew he was never coming back", Chase stated, "come on, let's go see what he found",

"Looks like we're gonna have to climb down from here", Ella said, looking through a fence, wasting no time, the two found a way around the fence and climbed down into the temple ruins.

"The Spanish didn't dig this giant hole, I wonder what caused it", Chase stated

"Who knows, a lot of things can cause this", Ella said

"Or the wrath of god... nah, just kidding", Nate said as the three continued forward

"Wow... this is so amazing", Chase stated, looking around the ruins

"Yeah, and think about this, the Sete Cidades carved this out of sandstone over four hundred years ago by hand, no tractors, no backhoes", Nate explained

"I'm not Dante you know", Chase said, "I know they didn't have backhoes in the 16th century",

"Chase... Nate likes to think out loud, he wasn't trying to lecture you", Ella stated

"Looks like we can get in through here", Nate said, looking at a stone wall, on the floor, there were scrape marks, the wall was movable

"He went into the catacombs through here", Chase said as the three attempted to push the stone in, but it wouldn't budge

"No good, we'll have to find another way in", Ella stated as the two nodded their heads and continued forward; traveling upward to go down, and reaching doors that could only be opened by puzzle, as well as Guerro's men, who had followed the three into the temple, with the goons gone, the three continued forward; as quickly as possible to avoid the armed goons coming their way, and reached the catacombs within the temple; Chase dropped down to the main floor as Nate stayed up, digging through his backpack, Ella staying by his side.

"Hey, how will his tomb be marked", Chase asked

"From what that book said, Esteban was from Morocco, so my best guess is something Arabic", Ella stated as Nate flipped through one of his many journals, Nate had copied notes from the book.

"It could be this infinity symbol", Nate stated

"Oh my god", Chase said in shock, which alarmed both Nate and Ella

"Chase", Nate called out, but there was no answer, the two quickly climbed down and began their search for Chase, later finding her in a chamber, near a dead body, her grandfather's body.

"You alright", Ella asked

"Yeah, I was just a little startled, you know", Chase stated

"I think we can get him back to the surface", Nate said

"No, no... this is what he wanted, it's why I came here", Chase said, covering her grandfather's body with a blanket that she had brought

"You sure", Nate asked as Chase nodded her head

"Yeah, go on... go find the sword", Chase said

"We're not leaving you here", Ella stated

"Ella, I'm fine... I just wanna sit with him for a few minutes", Chase stated
