49. Overthinking Kills

In some aspects which require my intellectual capacity

I could say, I am intelligent

But when it comes to the topic of love

I am no longer one

I can be so foolish

careless

and irresponsible

I usually overthink...

horrible thoughts usually scare me

I think too much in advance

I usually disregard the present

Ignoring its beauty

No time to spend unboxing gifts

I always look forward to the "what ifs" 

of the uncertain future

and because I overthink too much

I have been living in sarcasm.

and because I overthink too much

I have been killing myself.

I have been killing my dreams.

I have been killing the glory of love.
