Today the docter gives us the gender of our babies! Me and Tom decided that Vanessa can plan the gender reveal, so she is the first one who knows. We got both ready to go to the hospital.
Tom- What do you hope the genders will be?
Me- I don't know, i don't really care, i will love them anyways, but i hope 1 girl and 1 boy.
Tom- Me too. But if it 2 boys or 2 girls i will love them anyways.
We kissed and stepped in the car.
On the way there i felt something and i began to smile.
Tom- Why are you smiling darling?
Me- I think one of the babies just moved.
Tom smiled immediately and placed his hand on my belly and starts rubbing it softly.
Tom- I can't wait to meet them, and hold them both in my arms.
I smiled.
Me- Me too.
We arrived at the hospital and walked to the room where they to ultrasounds.
Docter- Ah! There you guys are, i must not tell the gender right?
Tom- No, we are giving it to a friend so they can plan a gender reveal.
The doctor nodded and gave us the envelope with the genders.
Doctor- Did you feel the babies move or maybe kick mrs Y/l/n?
I smiled.
Me- Yes, on the way here i felt one of the babies move.
Doctor- That means they are healthy, in 4 weeks you can maybe start to feel little kicks and maybe see them.
I nodded.
Tom- Thank you so much!
Doctor- No problem! Bye!
We both said bye and drove to Vanessa's house.
We arrived and i rang the bell.
Vanessa- Hey guys! Do you guys have the genders for me?
Me- Yes! Here you go!
I gave her the envelope and she smiled.
Vanessa- I can't wait to see plan this gender reveal! It's going to be fantastic!
Vanessa hugged me and we both said bye and i stepped in the car again.
We arrived home again.
Tom- Is it to early to think of names?
Me- Maybe, but we can discuss what we think its cute.
Tom- I think its cute if both names starts with the same letter. They are twins after all.
Me- Me too. But i don't want the names to rhyme.
Tom- Okay darling!!
He kissed my cheek.
Then i got a text from Vanessa.
Vanessa- Hey! How do you guys want to find out the genders? A balloon or something? Or a cake?
Me- I let it totally up to you, suprise us!
Vanessa- Okay! Thank you!
Tom sat on the couch next to me.
Tom- Do you want to watch an movie?
Me- Sure which one?
Tom- You choose.
Me- Titanic?
Tom nodded and played the movie Titanic.
An hour later i had a strange craving for pickles with icecream. I felt a bit ashamed for it, because i was afraid Tom would think i was weird for having cravings for that.
Tom- Do you want anything to eat?
Me- ....
Tom- Y/n?
Me- Huh?
Tom- Are you okay? I asked if you wanted something to eat.
Me- Pickles with icecream....
Tom- Okay! What kind of icecream?
Me- You don't think it's weird?
Tom- Ofcourse not! It's just your pregnancy who let you have that cravings.
Me- I crave for vanille icecream with pickles...
Tom- Okay darling! Wait a second!
Tom kissed my cheek and walked to the kitchen.
He came back with a bowl with icecream and pickles. I started to eat. It wasn't that bad after all.
Me- Wanna try some?
Tom- Oh ehm no thanks.
Me- Come on, for me?
Tom grabbed the bowl and took carefully an bite.
Tom- Its not that bad, but i don't like it.
I laugh softly and continue to eat.
The end of the film is there and you start to cry.
Tom- Awh darling come here!
Tom wrapped his arms around me and i burried my head in his chest.
Me- Rose is a selfish twat. There was room for two on that door.
Tom laughed and stroked my hair.
Then i fell asleep in his arms.
