Shravan and Drishti carried all their shopping bags up to their penthouse with the help of the security guard.

As they reached the bedroom, Drishti stuffed all her new dresses into the wardrobe along with her old ones.

Shravan shook his head and talked himself out of a speech regarding order and arrangements.

If he start that, the topic will end up with him being accused of a bore.

Why provoke her? He thought to himself

"Where are your shopping bags?" Drishti asked and came around and took it from him.

Shravan stared in horror at her, as she opened his side of the wardrobe.

"Noo" he yelled startling Drishti

"What? Why are you screaming?" She asked

"Uh. Nothing. Its just. Ah! Yes. I will arrange them. Why don't you go and take a shower. I know you must be tired after all that running around in the mall." Shravan covered up quickly

Drishti shot a bright smile at him

"Aww. You are worried about me being tired? How cute" Drishti cooed and hugged him tightly

"Yeah yeah. Go take a shower quick. I also need a shower" Shravan said and Drishti dashed to the washroom for a shower

Shravan let out a sigh of relief and proceeded to arrange his new clothes in his side of the wardrobe.

Shravan came out of the shower and saw Drishti sitting on the bed with two bags of chips and a bottle of cool drink.

"Are we having a party?" Shravan joked. Something he never usually does. But the accusation of being a boring person is starting to affect him quiet well.

"Its a movie night. Another way of bonding between couples" Drishti said excitedly as she waved the television remote in front of him

Shravan nodded in disappointment. He was quiet ready to burn a few kilos of calories. He had actually been waiting for that.

With the enthusiasm which Drishti showed regarding the physical side of their relationship, he didn't really expect this.

"Oh. Okay" he said and got onto the bed

"The second show already started. Else we could have gone to the theatre to watch a movie. But I think this is more fun. We could watch the movie. And we can kiss during all the songs and fights in the movies" Drishti declared happily

Shravan shook his head. Nothing should surprise him anymore.

"What? You didn't think we won't be kissing today. Did you?" Drishti asked

Shravan pulled his into his arms as an answer and kissed her square on her mouth.

Drishti was quick to respond. She wound her arms around his neck and pulled him closer. Their lips moulded against each other and their tongues played a tango.

Drishti quickly pulled away.

"Movie. We have to watch a movie" she said breathlessly.

Shravan groaned

"Do we have to?" Shravan asked his right hand behind her nape, softly caressing her skin

"Yes. We need to bond, don't we" Drishti asked

"We can bond in other ways" Shravan said as he deliberately let his eyes take in her heaving bosoms

"Stop looking like that. You are playing dirty. We will next kiss when a song or a fight comes in the movie" Drishti said and turned around in the bed, facing the television

"Maybe we should play an Allu Arjun movie" Shravan grumbled

"You know Allu Arjun? I thought you don't watch movies?" Drishti asked as she scrolled through the Netflix

"I don't usually. But I had gone to watch this movie when I was in college. The lead was Allu Arjun" Shravan said

"Oh you like Allu Arjun? You are a fan? Just by watching one movie?" Drishti asked taking it as an opportunity to get to know her husband more.

"No. But ninety percent of his movie was either songs or fights" Shravan grumbled and Drishti laughed

"Aww. You are so cute when you sulk" Drishti said and gave a loud kiss on his cheeks.

A smile formed on Shravan's face

He is quite enjoying this married life. Will it be always like this? He wondered

Before the movie could start, his phone rang

"Its mom" he said as he saw the caller ID.

"Pick it up" Drishti said

"Yes Mom" Shravan answered the call

"Shravu? How are you? How is Drishti?" Anuradha asked

"We are good mom. How are you and dad" he asked

"Everything is good here. I called you to let you know that your reception has been fixed for this weekend" Anuradha said

"This weekend? Oh but we have plans this weekend mom" Shravan said

"Your plans can very well be de-planned." Anuradha huffed. She could imagine her son planning to spend the entire weekend in front of his laptop staring at pie charts and histograms.

"Mom"

"Listen. It is fixed. You have come to Jodhpur tomorrow itself. We need to get everything done before the weekend and we want your inputs in it. Vihaan and Divya will be flying over day after tomorrow. I need you both here in time to welcome your in laws home for the first time" Anuradha said

By now, Shravan had put the call on speaker so that Drishti could also listen.

"Okay aunty. We will be there. But I don't have anymore leaves." Drishti said

"Drishti beta, you were there. Don't worry about that. Ask Shravan to come and talk to your HOD. I'm sure they will understand" Anuradha said

"Okay Mom. We will be there by tomorrow evening" Shravan said

"And yeah. You have a surprise Shravu" Anuradha said excitedly

"What??" Shravan asked

"Let it be a surprise. You will know when you come home" Anuradha said

Drishti frowned

She didn't particularly like the sound of the surprise.

Could it be some ex girlfriend?

But he said he never had a relationship before?

Could it be an admirer? If yes, will Anuradha aunty be excited about her arrival?

Why am I even making up unnecessary stories in my head now, she thought to herself.

"Drishti" Shravan shook her bringing her back from her thoughts

"What?"

"You had zoned out"

"Oh. I was just thinking about packing" Drishti lied

"We will have to postpone our trip Drishti."

"I know"

"So movie?? Don't we have to pack?" Shravan asked

"Movie cancelled. Let's pack"
