CHAPTER 26

Once I arrived at my home, I quickly run into the palace just to meet with my mom.

"Mom! Mom!" I run all the from the entrance to the backyard where she was busy watering the plants.

"Oh you're back?" my mom saw me and she stop her job then I hug her.

"Eh— why so sudden?" she look so confuse while I was hugging her.
I break the hug and look at her.

"Mom...can we talk?" I smile and hold her hand, swing it side to side as I was excited on what I'm gonna tell her about at the same time I'm shy.

"Sure...come have a sit" she said and we went to the cottage and sit down on the bench.

"So? What are you gonna tell me about? You look so excited"

"Mom...me and Hyunjin has already decided our wedding day, it's on next month...which is the best month for wedding..." I said and play with my mom sleeves like a shy kid.

"Really? Oh my sure it's a good month you guys pick" She smile brightly.
"We gotta tell your dad about this so we can prepare for your wedding" She added on and I nodded my head.

I just help my mom with the chores while waiting for my father come home from somewhere only god know.

My mom decided to went out get groceries so I followed her accompanying her shopping for tonight dinner.

"Invite Hyunjin along to join us dinner" My mom said while picking fresh fruit from the stall.

"But...he still under recovery mom..." I look at her then she look at me.

"Recovery? Oh...ok then invite him next time, I need to talk with my future son in law"

"Alright mom"

After shopping, we head back home and prepare for dinner.
I just take my time on helping my mom while didn't rushing like past few week just to send dinner to Hyunjin after he got injured on the war real bad. But today... I decided to just skip a day for visiting him. There will have no any good things to happen once I visit him, he probably will find excuse and lock me in his room not allow me to leave him.
Just because of him, I almost out of energy during the shopping with my mom, walking all around the street all day.

I served the cooked meals on the table while my mom is still preparing other dishes, just by sniffing the smell I knew what it were— delicious kimchi tofu stew. My mouth has already watery once I smell it and my tummy begin to growl as I was so hungry and can't wait to eat it.

Not longer, she just served the last dish—kimchi tofu stew on the table and here come my father who just come home in time with my brother Jeongin.

"We're home~" they said while taking off their shoes.

"Come, dinner is ready~" my mom said and Jeongin run towards the dining table and sit down as he can't wait to eat it but been slap by me when he was about to eat the food.

"Wait for father first idiot" I said and he just pouted.
"I'm so hungry...please allowed me to eat first"

"Let's just eat" my father said and he sit down then I sat after him.

Jeongin has already dig in the food and eat like he has been not eating for a day, my mom just help my father taking foods and place it on his plate.

"Honey, actually Y/n have something to say" My mom said while serving my father a bowl of soup.

"Hmm? What is it? The wedding?"

I kinda surprised with what my father said.

"How did you know?" I asked.

"His royal majesty told me about it when I went to visit him" He said while eating.

"Oh ok so..."

"And I agree it since it's the best month for your wedding...you gotta prepared yourself now"

"Alright dad"
I smile and take the fried chicken for my father, placing it on too of his rice "here dad, eat well".

We eat our dinner together while chit chatting, I'm so excited about my wedding and even can't fall asleep while keep thinking of how beautiful I'll be and how handsome he will be on that day.

"eeeekk— stop thinking Y/n just sleep...you still have something to do tomorrow" I hit my head while talking to myself in my bedroom.

I turn around and play with the necklace on my neck can't stop grinning on what I was thinking until I don't know how I just fall asleep on my bed with my hand holding onto the necklace.

Hyunjin POV.
I was busy with my works in my own room while the maid is busy with their works on the decoration as the wedding of mine and Y/n is almost near, so all of the people in the palace is busy working on the decoration stuff.

"Your royal highness...shall we use red colour as in traditional or just—"

"Just follow the celestial's transition then, make it more like a fairytale theme because she like something like that and oh...for the aisle, spread the cherry blossom petals on it...it's her favourite" I commend and the maid nod then begin to continue her job.

I get up and went outside to take a look at the decoration, everything is went like what I was expected.
I'm gonna make this wedding more special for her to remember it forever.

Just when I was watching the people doing their job, suddenly someone just cover my eyes from behind.
I could tell who it was just by sniffing the cherry blossom scent that she got on it.

"Guess who am I~" She said in such a cute tone that make me giggle and hold her hand.

"Y/n my soon to be wife" I said and turn around to her.

She just smile shyly and intertwined her hand with mine.

"Well...do you like the decoration?" I ask while showing her the decoration.
She look surrounding and amazed by the beautiful decoration.

"Yes I love it, it's like what I dream of" She smile sweetly and kiss on my cheek "thanks Hyunjin"

"Hmm you kiss the wrong places" I whined and she hit my chest.
"There's a lot of people here..."

"I don't care come on kiss me on the lips" I said and pointed on my lips.

She look surrounding make sure no one looking and toes up to kiss me on my lips, I just wrapped my arm around her waist and pull her into deep kiss.

She keep humming in kiss while hitting my arms just to let her free. I ignore her and still kissing her not even care people surround us is watching us kissing.

"Let's just leave them alone"

"Yeah, let's go"

The people surround us stop their job and begin to take their leave while chuckling.

Y/n has already been melted by my kiss and she has stop struggling. She begin to wrapped her arms around my neck, kissing me back.

Just when Hyunjin and Y/n is kissing each other at the hallway, there's someone who is watching at them from far. She clenching her first and bite on her teeth as she were so jealous then run away from the place.

"I'm not gonna let your wedding went well...just wait! I'll get back what you've steal from me Y/n"
