Today was Maya's birthday, which was also was the release of her mixtape.
As the members stated before, she had lots of beats on her computer, but also some songs she had already recorded using Namjoon's and Yoongi's studios without the males knowing.
She did the arrangements during Tour and had the other producers help her by sending the songs back and forth when she was away and they did it in-person when she came back to Korea.
The purple-haired girl was very self-conscious, shaking in fear as the members sat around the table, each of them eating a piece of her birthday cake.
"Our Ya-Yah is twenty-one ! Wooh !" Hoseok said excitedly as he clapped in her hands, making her chuckle.
"Yay.." She said in a tiny voice, shaking her fists in the hair.
"Here is my gift for you.." Seokjin said, sliding an envelope on the table.
She took it, thanking him before opening it.
Her eyes widened as she looked at him.
"Oppa-"
"Sh-sh, happy birthday golden girl." He said with a smile.
In the envelope was an allowance of 1,500,00 won (approx. $1,300), her eyes widening at the amount.
"That's too much.." She mumbled, closing the envelope. "I told you I didn't want anything expensive."
She walked toward him, pressing a kiss on her cheek and giving him a hug, the heartwarming scene making a few members take pictures.
"Thank you so much Jinnie-Oppa.."
She pressed another kiss on his cheek and finally decided to sit on his lap, very grateful of his gift.
"You act like you're not wealthy." Seokjin chuckled.
"Still, that means a lot to me ! Stop dissing yourself." She said, taking the gift Namjoon was now handing her.
It was a small box, the name of a famous brand on it.
She opened it, seeing a silver ring with a sun engraved on it.
Namjoon gives her his hand, seeing he had the moon version.
"That's so corny !.. I love it." She said, giggling.
She immediately put it on her ring finger, which made the members scream.
"What's next uh ? Marriage and kids ?" Jungkook said jokingly, pointing them with his finger. (#GossipGoogie)
Maya turned to him with a smirk.
"You know well I'm already promised to you Googie."
The members screamed again as Jungkook got shy, looking away.
"Noona why would you say this !" He said in a whiny tone, embarrassed.
"Chill out a little Ya-yah !" Yoongi added. "Here's my gift for you."
He gave her an envelope with another allowance which was around the same amount as Seokjin.
She thanked him, scolding him a little by telling him he shouldn't give her that much but Yoongi brushed it away.
