"Hello, Sneha" "(Y/n)? What happened?" "I came to see Athreya but the agency is closed. Where did he go?" "Didn't Agent tell you that he is not feeling well today?" "What? He didn't tell anything to me . He didn't even call me" "I thought since you were his friend he would have let you know" "Ok Sneha thanks so much" "It's nothing (y/n) you are welcome" "Yea talk to you later" you put your phone in your handbag . "That asshole" you scolded Athreya and made your way to his home. You rung the bell . You heard a faint come in so you opened the door. You saw his bedroom door opened . "Seenu what happened ?" You rushed to his bed "Nothing (y/n) just a slight fever . I will get well by noon" you touched his forehead . "Omg you are burning up" "(Y/n) it's ok you get back to your work" "Today is my day off that's why I came to meet you but I didn't know you were running a fever" "This is why I didn't even call you (y/n) you enjoy your day off I can take care of myself I am not a kid anymore" "I will slap you across the face . If you didn't say you had  fever you think I will never know" "(Y/n)..." He coughed . You rubbed his chest a little. "Did you eat anything?" "I am not going anywhere" he just looked into your eyes knowing well you are not going to leave him in this situation. "I will make some porridge" "Ok but get me some hot water to drink please" "Yea ok" you rushed into the kitchen. You turned on the kettle to make some hot water. While the water was boiling you turned to make the porridge. You poured the hot water into a cup . "Seenu here" you sat on the bed beside him made him to sit up . You supported him by keeping your hand planted on his back . Hr drank the hot water slowly. "Are you sure you want to waste your day here?" "Shut up idiot you are never a waste of time for me" "(Y/n) I don't deserve your care " "Are you gonna shut up? Don't make me slap you" "Sorry" you got the cup back and the rice was cooked so you took it down . You poured some hot water and mixed it . The porridge was done so you poured it into a bowl and put a spoon in it. "Here have this" "Feed me" He grinned at you . "Fine " you took a spoon full and gave him. He ate it with content. He finished the food within seconds. "Feeling better?" "Yes" "Ok get some rest" "Thank you (y/n)" "No don't say it I am your friend and it's my job to take care of you" "That's what I am afraid of" "About what?" "I want you to stay with me for the rest of my life " he lay his head on your chest "I don't want to lose you (y/n)" you caressed his cheek as he spoke. "You were never like a friend everytime you care for me you remind me of my mother that's the reason I don't want to lose you. Please don't leave me" you could hear his soft cries . Tears rolled down his cheeks . You wiped his tears away. "Who said anything about leaving you? I am staying with you till my last breath " "Promise?" He held out his hand "Promise" you kissed him on his forehead . You moved into the bed more . He lay his head on your lap getting more comfortable. You caressed his hair so that he could fall asleep. While he got some rest you took out your phone to scroll through it. After two whole hours Athreya got up. "What time is it?" "It's 2p.m." "Did you eat?" "You were sleeping on my lap how can I move and I didn't want to leave you alone. Now are you feeling better?" "A lot better than I was in the morning" "That's good . Are you hungry?" "I am" "Ok I will make you something. Is pulao ok?" He just stared at you. "What?" "I don't know it's just I am in love with you" you hugged him. "Well I love you a hella lot that's why I want to take care of you no matter what and what about medicines can I get you few tablets to take" "I need no medicines if you are with me (y/n) just stay by my side and I will get better" "Flirt" you shook your head at how unbelievable he was .
