Second Person POV
Maki decided to tag along with you on checking up on Megumi and to meet the other first year, Nobara. Which resulted in Panda and Inumaki coming with you two as well. Maki was the one who took the first step causing you to just mentally faced palm. She was only meant to accompany you not be so rowdy all of sudden. Check up ruined. "What's this? You're looking more glum than usual, Megumi. This a wake or something?"Maki asked him, she clearly didn't know of Itadori's death. The two students were clearly down in the slumps.
"Oh god here we go again..."You muttered but also wanting to see her embarrass herself and get some form of karma after embarrassing you many times. "Zen'in-senpai."Megumi greeted, he messed up with that one; you let out a disappointing sigh at the two. There interactions were interesting. "Don't call me by my last name!"She stated clearly. "Maki! Y/n! Maki! Y/n!"Panda called out as we both turn to him and Toge who were behind one of the statues, which was an obvious spot for hiding.
"I'm talking here."Maki retorted not liking the fact he had interrupted when she was going to go on a tangent. "Y-You actually don't know why they're so down?"Panda whispered shouted to her as she raised a brow, completely oblivious on what he mean by that question. "What are you talking about?"Maki asked, turning fully to face him. "Someone really did die yesterday! One of the first-year boys!" Panada answered as you can see in the peripheral of your eyes that a wave of embarrassment washes over her
"Bonito flakes."Toge adds on. Maki was sweating and gritting her teeth as she then turn to you. "You should've told me sooner, Y/n! Now I look like some heartless cold-blooded demon!"She screamed towards your face and pointed her finger; holding your arms up in defence. It was your fault now? "Okay first off I was originally meant to go alone. Secondly you didn't even give me a chance to even explain why I was gonna talk to Megumi." You had rebutted her as she goes to open her mouth, trying to come up with something to counter.
"She's right Maki. Plus you exactly are as you had came off to be." Panda decided to added on to it. "Tuna Mayo."Toge agreed with the both as we forgot about the first years even being there at all and just decided to add fuel to the fire of extreme embarrassment. "You're supposed to try to make me feel better!"Maki exclaimed throwing her weapon bag down, now having a slightly flushed face.
"Who are you guys exactly?" Nobara had asked as she sat there dumbfounded. Oh right. The firsts years are right there. "I'll give the introductions. The "cold-blooded demon" over there is Zen'in-senpai who is the best of the students at wielding cursed tools."Megumi introduced Maki first. "Salmon roe."Toge had waved at the two of them. "That's the Cursed Speech user, Inumaki-senpai. He can only speak in ingredients of rice balls." He had gestured towards Toge as Nobara was nodding along.
"He's a bit softer when Yuta's or Y/n around, though."Panda commented, making you want to dive head first down a set of stairs. "Panda-senpai. Then there's my cousin Y/n or as you'll refer as Fushigiro-senpai or Y/n-senpai she's also pretty good at wielding cursed tools, her technique as destruction and creation that's why she wears those gloves."Megumi pointed toward your hands as you only nodded at what he explained even though it could've been a lot better. You'll tell him later. "Nice to meet you. I've already heard of you before." You wave and smile at her as she happily returns it. "There's also one more, Okkotsu-senpai who's the only one I can sincerely respect, besides Y/n. He's overseas right now." He then stands up as Nobara gave him a look.
"You're not adding more about the panda named Panda?"She asked as the other two stood beside us "Oh Panda is a cursed doll made by the Principal." You explained as Panda clapped his paws together as he now stood infront of you. Causing you to raise a brow at the bear. "What are you doing?" You asked in a quiet tone, as he glanced back. "I'm apologising on Maki's behalf."He whispered back as he then turned back to the first years. "Man, sorry about that. And when you're in mourning... Please forgive us for that."Panda apologised as You only nodded while the other two kept quiet as well.
"The truth is, that Y/n was checking up on Megumi but also we'd like for you to participate in the Kyoto Sister School Exchange Event."Panda had explained what was going on in the first place. "Kyoto Sister School Exchange Event? What's that?"Nobara questioned. "It's a get-together with the other Tech school in Kyoto. Though isn't that event mainly for second and third years?"Megumi had explained it to her. "And those stupid third-years are suspended now. So you need to participate." Maki had practically demanded them. "Be nice."You jabbed her into the side as she grumbled incoherent curses.
"What do you do at this event? Smash Bros? I won't lose if it's the Wii version. I'll Meteor Smash so you can't come back."Nobara pumped her fist up, she seems a bit competitive but you liked that. "Then let's make a 3-man team. The exchange event has the principals of the Tokyo and Kyoto schools each propose a form of competition to be held for an entire day over the course of two days. Though that's how it is on paper."Panda described more in depth of how the it's exactly done. "Every year, the first day is team battles, and the second day is individual battles."You added on it as she seemed even more excited.
"Individual and team battles? We fight?! Against other jujutsu sorcerers?!"Nobara was beaming at the thought. "Yeah, it's a jujutsu battle where anything but killing goes."Maki answered as you could see a smirk forming across her face. "We'll train you up well so you won't get killed. Yeah, yeah, yeah!"Panda cheered throwing up punches at the air. "Wait, do you have time for that? I thought we were short on jujutsu sorcerers." Nobara asked as you technically were. There was six of you but Kyoto also had six so the numbers were even. "That's a good question. For now, we are. The glum emotions people harbour from late winter through spring cause an outburst of curses in the early summer, so that's our busy season."Panda answered as if you had to disagree no matter what time of the year it is always seemed to be really busy.
"Sometimes we're busy all year long, but things should be settling down soon. So, you'll do it, right? You just had a partner die in you, after all so we're not going to force you." You asked even though they hadn't known him for long death can still affect someone.
"We're in!"They both claimed as you were a bit surprised but not going to complain the more the merrier. "But if I decide this training and exchange event is pointless, I'm quitting instantly."Nobara stated as you see Megumi nod along with her. "Same here." He backed up, do they have to be cocky though? Well you were like that as well. "Well, people this cocky are all the more worthwhile to train."Panda commented. "Bonito flakes."Toge half disagreed on that stated.
"Well we will make it worth. After all I have experience in Sister School exchange event. Plus you have Maki to learn curse tools and fighting. Panda is also a good way to let out your anger and beat up. Inumaki has vast knowledgeable." You reassured, having a good feeling about where this was going.
