Hella Short Chapter
Second Person POV
Currently pissed at Maki and Nobara for setting you up because here you were in the gardens at night alone with Toge. Feeling betrayed but also happy at the same time. It had been a while since the two of you ever spent time together. Just the two of you... "Mustard Leaf?"Toge asked with clear concern on his face from what you could tell. Then you realised that you hadn't really said much to him but an 'hello'.
"Yeah I'm alright just mad at Maki and Nobara for you know obvious reasons." You explained to him as he nodded at you with complete silence arising between us though it wasn't awkward it was more comfortable in a sense. "You know we can just go back to-" "Bonito Flakes." He cut you off as you stared at him with surprise thinking that he didn't want to be here since it was just us two and not the others. "Are you sure?"You needing his confirmation, trying to see it in the expression he wore on. "Salmon."He unzipped his mask that cover half his face, giving you a reassuring smile, which you couldn't help to return him one.
"Salmon cod roe."He patted the spot beside him on the bench as you willingly sat next to him with the cool night breeze kissing your face gently. We just sat there looking up at the stars with nothing but peace. No annoying Maki or Nobara to pester you to ask him out or no Panda trying to literally throw me and break my bones. And make his stupid remarks that he always says. Though eventually you felt the drowsiness taking over your body; eyes beginning to be more hooded and your posture became more relaxed.
"Mustard Leaf?"Toge called out making you slightly jolt from the sudden noise. "Oh I'm just tired that's all."You yawned stretching your arms up while doing so you felt a hand on the back of your head. Gazing up to see Toge signaling to rest your head on his shoulder which you took his kind gesture and did so without thinking about it too much. He's just being nice right? Nothing more than that...We're only friends, aren't we?
Third Person POV
In the bushes from the distance was Maki, Nobara, Panda and a very tired Megumi who ended up getting dragged along by the two girls to spy on his cousin and Inumaki. Though he didn't see no point in him being there but he got threatened to be hit with the hammer by Nobara so he just complied. While the two girls were taking photos for teasing and maybe some handy blackmail. Panda on the other hand just watched the moment thinking that it was cute and he also knew something that Y/n didn't.
Toge also liked her back but Panda knew the both were dense so doing things like this should be a bug push for both of them to ask either on of them out. Because it was absolutely painful for everyone to see the two see each other as only "friends". So maybe the suffering will end since this has been going on when the two were first years.
