I forget to mention when Damon and Katherine are from.
They are from after Caroline's kids are born but before the whole wedding thing etc.
I think I'm going to have them all reacted to the when they came up to the end of the show.
That way hp characters can get to know them and Damon and Katherine can know what happens in their future.
