“Bir gün ablamlara misafirliğe gittim. O zamanlar 21 yaşındaydım. Bir yere telefon etmem gerekiyordu, fakat ablamların telefonu bozuktu. Abimin okul arkadaşı olan karşı komşudan telefon etmemi istediler. Gittim utanarak kapıyı çaldım. Bir adam kapıyı açtı, ilk kez görüyordum. Telefonunuzu kullanabilir miyim? Diye sordum.. "Benimle evlenirseniz neden olmasın" dedi. Çok şaşırdım, neyse telefonu kullandım. Çıkarken şaka yoluyla "Telefonun ücretini alayım?" Dedi. Ben de "evleneceğiz ya” dedim.
