You clasped the book in your arms while your phone was in your pocket

You ran down the sidewalk a few tears dripped down

You were a total bitch your only chance at freedom with someone to protect you and you totally blew it

this was ridiculous but you needed to get away you weren't used to controlling your emotions yet

"I'm sorry miss" he said sweetly handing you your book he looked behind you and saw your phone

"Oh no did I break your phone I'm so sorry about that can I get you some coffee or tea"

"Uh...yea sure" you said grabbing the book from his hand he let out his hand for you

You hoisted yourself up with the help of his hand and you two walked silently down to a cafe he held the door open for you with a bright smile

smiling back and walking through the door sitting at a table for two people he followed behind you sitting across from you

It was awkward for a few minutes

"So.. how old are you" you said awkwardly

"Oh I'm 21"

"Cool I'm 19" you said

"Do you work" he asked fidgeting with his fingers

"I'm a beastman zoologist I basically study all kinds of species of beastman and how they live and stuff"

You finally let out a breath you had a blush on your face and you were being really awkward and how were you gonna get his contact information your phone was shattered you groaned in frustration

He came back and sat back at the table you smiled brightly

"So I don't mean any harm when I ask but do you mind transforming for me I would really like to see what species of beastman you are"

"Oh yea" you said you transformed into your beastman form Your fur fluffed out

Thats the one species of wolf I haven't studied and your fur is quite beautiful it has a wonderful shine its in perfect condition it's a good thing you don't cut your hair very often would you mind coming to my studio I left my important journals there and I wouldn't wanna leave you here alone" he gushed he was blushing a bit

"Sure what species are you"

"Me? I'm a fox" he said transforming

"Oh cool that's nice" you said

One of the ladies came by and placed two drinks on the table one smelt like strawberries and the other like chocolate

"I got you strawberry chai tea" he smiled picking up the one that smells like chocolate

"What's that one" you asked grabbing the drink in front of you

"Oh this is mocha" he said taking a sip

"Is it some sort of chocolate"

"Good observation" he winked at you taking another sip

You looked down at the drink you were holding and you hesitantly took a sip

Your eyes lit up it was delicious

"This is really good" you said taking multiple sips

"Alright well I say we get going it's only a few blocks away and it won't take very long"

You nodded your head getting up you both transformed back into your human forms and left the cafe

You approached an older building you could tell by the smell

he took out a small key and walked up to a door

he opened the door and walked in with you following behind him the lights were on so someone was there

you finished the last of your drink and threw it away in a near by trash can

It was a big brown room full of artifacts,papers,and journals he walked over to a filing cabinet and pulled one of the drawers out afterwards pulling out a journal that said black wolf on it

"Oh cool" she mumbled walking past you and putting the papers on the table she quickly shuffled out of the room her face was still pink when she left

You titled your head but shrugged it off soon after

You got distracted by his chair that had the ability to spin you ran over and sat in the chair spinning

He laughed and Scribbled something down in his notes "playful" you whispered to himself

He was about to say something else until you and him heard a knock at the door

He trotted over to the and opened it

You were on the side the door was facing so you couldn't see you sat there and spun in the chair Jnril noel poked his head out from behind the door
