Closest to the Heart

The new session of the school has started, a  new boy has arrived in class 5. He was sitting quietly on the backbench. The boy's name was known as Risat during the attendance, Rishat Banerjee was his full name. The boy was sitting quietly and looking at everyone, it was obvious that the boy was an introvert. If we look at his biodata then we can figure out that he was the only child of his parents. His father does a Government job and his mother is a housewife. He doesn't have many friends.
When Tapan Sir was calling Santanu's name for attendance, Sourik, who was going change Rishat's life... entered into the class. By seeing Sourik anybody can easily understand that he is a chill person, who enjoys every moment of his life.
When sir saw Sourik he started to scold him, "This is the first day of school and you are so late!!";   " Sorry sir today my rikshaw uncle...." When Sourik was just going to reply to him, Tapan sir interrupted in between and said, "Don't have to give any excuses, just go and sit in your place".
All benches were occupied, only one was left in which Rishat was sitting so he sat with him. After few minutes with great curiosity, Sourik asked Rishat his name, after getting his answer he replied "Hi  I am Sourik Dutta, if you ever need any help you can ask me"  Sourik's father was a Navy officer and his mother was a housewife, just like Rishat he was also the only child of his parents. That day they both talked a lot and it was the first time when Rishat talked and laughed so much.
After the arrival of Sourik, Rishat's life was completely changed.

The boy who used to talk so less...has learned to laugh open-heartedly. They were more like brothers than friends. Everybody in school used to call them 'Jai Veeru'.
In this way six years passed, their friendship has grown much stronger. So many years have passed but their characteristic did not change at all, the chillness of Sourik and the shyness of Rishat is constant. Their class 10th result was very good and they decided that they will study together till college, that means they wanted to spend their whole student life together.
It was the first day of class 11th,  new students had joined the school and among them, someone was there, who would be a very special person in Rishat and Sourik's life. It was Ruhi, Ruhi Ganguly daughter of Basudev Ganguly ( a well-known businessman of the town) and she was going to be part of the little friendship bond created by Sourik and Rishat. That day Rishat was waiting for Sourik Outside the school gate, suddenly a car came stopped near him. Rishat saw that a girl came out of the car, the man who was driving the car said "Bye Ruhi", the girl replied "Bye uncle". The girl was so different from others, she looked so confident and well-mannered. When she was heading towards the school gate she looked at Rishat and smiled. The situation came out from nowhere and Rishat was too shy, he got confused and out of this he could not make what he would do so he just turned opposite side, the girl was totally amazed and she went inside the school. After few seconds Rishat felt that it was very rude, she was new to the school and was just trying to make new friends but he reacted so weirdly. After waiting some minutes and criticizing himself, Rishat saw that Sourik has arrived. It was the third period and chemistry class was going on, Rishat was just sitting behind that girl when the chemistry teacher asked that girl question that was unknown to her. Rishat understood that it was a perfect opportunity to rectify his mistake so without further delay he rescued her from the chemistry teacher. At the tiffin break, the girl came to Rishat and thanked him for helping her. She introduced herself as Ruhi and also added " I don't have any friends here, can we be friends?" Sourik and Rishat also introduced themselves to her and replied  " yeah of course." And that's how she came into their life
