I rolled on my ankle descending the stairs of my home, then fell down them, bruising 10% of my body. I cursed loudly, wincing as I stood up.
Monty padded over to me with a loud meow, as if he was mocking me.
I glared at my cat, then started examining an already visible bruise on my hand.
"What is all this noise!?" My Mum appeared out of nowhere, a copy of the daily prophet clasped in her hand.
"I fell." I replied bluntly.
She shook her head, a slight smile etched onto her face, "Oh Kassie."
"What? Are you not going to ask me if I'm okay?"
"You're fine don't be silly! And hurry up! You're going to miss the train hun."
I pulled the paper from her hand, "what's today's news theeee woah."
Draco's face was printed onto the front cover of the Daily prophet, his eyes still managed to pierce into mine from a black and white image.
I'd never told him I loved him back, I never said it back. I knew it was true and I hadn't said it. Because I was scared of the consequences.
Mum snatched it back from me.
"You look as if you've fallen in love with the paper! Get a move on," she then flattened out the newspaper and saw the front, "oh. You have."
"Mum!" I groaned, walking past her to retrieve my school trunk on the table.
"You know I thought this boy was a lost cause, he might have a pretty face but considering his family I wouldn't think tha-"
"-Mum." I interrupted her with a harsh tone, "You don't know him, and I'm sorry if you don't like him. But I do."
I expected her to snap back, but instead she smiled, "I'm so proud of you ma chérie."
"Huh?"
"You heard me, I'm proud, you are more than I could've ever wished for. If Cedric were here, he'd be even more proud."A fresh tear escaped her eye as she mentioned her lost son. But thoughts of him returned the horrible feelings of pain and rage, so I ignored them and forced a smile.
"I think he'd still be proud of me if I was a well known criminal."
She pulled me into a tight motherly hug, planting a kiss on the crown of my head, "Je t'adore mon fleur. Now hurry."

I was in the corridor of the Hogwarts express once more, another year. I wondered what awaited me this year.
Of course I hoped for recovery, happiness and riddance of my uncontrollable anger issue magic.
But instead it was more likely my mental health would get worse, Harry could be murdered and my uncontrollable anger issue magic would only increase.
Splendid.
I had been on that train many times, but the jolt of the moving wheels still excited me, the people waving from the platform still brought a smile to my face.
There was only one person I wanted to see. But I couldn't find him.
I slid open the door to the trio's compartment,
"But I saw him!" Harry seemed to be in the midst of an argument. He then glanced up and saw me, "Kassie!"
"Are you okay?!" I dumped my trunk and placed Monty's carrier on a seat, concern etched into my eyes as I recalled what had happened in the Department of mysteries.
