How long had it been since Eijirou flew away? Katsuki didn't know.

When did Deku get here?

He didn't know that either.

All he knew is that he was right about Eijirou not being dead. And it terrified him to think of what he turned into.

What did those villains do to him?!

Katsuki covered his mouth, choking back a gag.

"Kacchan! Are you okay?" Deku asked, running up to the still shaken hero.

Katsuki looked at where he was sitting. He was in a shock blanket in an ambulance.

When did he get here?

He looked back at Deku, and shook his head slowly.

No. He wasn't okay. Eijirou was out there right now. With the villains that had taken him hostage a year ago.

Working with them.

How was Katsuki that useless? He wasn't able to save Eijirou, and now he was working with the villains.

Why was he doing this? We're they threatening him?

Yeah... that's gotta be it.

That's easier to accept than any other possibility.

But, there was one thing that bugged him the most. Why were his eyes purple?

Admittedly, Katsuki didn't pay much attention to people, but he did pay close attention to him. And he knew that his eyes were red.

And, did they dye his hair back to black? His roots wouldn't grow fast enough to get to that length if he grew it out naturally.

Katsuki shuddered under his blanket. Deku rested a hand on his shoulder, looking up at him, concerned.

Katsuki's eyes suddenly welled up as he looked at the green-haired man in front of him. He bit his lips to hold back the tears that threatened to fall down his cheeks.

He gripped at the edge of the blanket around him, shaking Deku's hand off from his shoulder.

"Kacchan...? What did you see up there?" Deku asked, looking up at the skyscraper above them.

Katsuki simply shook his head again, wiping off the tears that had formed in his eyes.

"Kacchan... please? What happened up there?"

Katsuki glared at the other man, still holding back his tears. He flinched and looked up when he heard a news helicopter go overhead. He grumbled and stared back down at the ground. His body curled up on itself, as he let out a shaky sigh.

"I saw Eijirou."

"Check again. I don't want that chip breaking." A brunette man said to another.

Eijirou moved his hair off the back of his neck, straightening it out for another person to examine it.

"I think I'm fine, boss." He said, sighing a little as the second person gently ran a small device across one of the many scars on the back of Eijirou's neck.

"I told you. Call me Tomo. But, I just want to be safe. That chip is the whole reason you're here, remember? You're helping me. So, let's just do one last checkup in order to make sure it's still intact." The first man called out from behind him, examining Eijirou's scar alongside the second person.
