City Hall Stranger

A/N:

For people that haven't seen dynasty here's the characters:

Fallon Carrington, Blake Carrington, Steven Carrington, Crystal Carrington, Michael Culhane, Liam Ridley, Joseph Anders.

Fallon and Steven are full siblings, Blake is their father, Crystal is Blake's wife, Sam is Crystal's nephew and Steven's boyfriend, Michael is Fallon's complicated love, Liam is Fallon's second love interest, and Anders is the Manor's butler.

Fallon's POV:

As I sat outside city hall after Culhane's rejection to my romantic gesture, the rain started to fall.  It was dark and the stars were shining.  "Of course it starts raining", I sigh to myself.  I thought convincing Culhane I want to marry him would show him how much I love him.  Instead the whole thing blew up in my face.  From the corner of my eye I see an average figure walking towards to me.  A handsome looking man with brown hair and blue eyes sits himself down next to me.  "Bad drivers license photo?".  I turn my head and look into his eyes.  "Trusts me, can't be worse than mine" he says.  "Cute.  But it'll take more than your diseased tissue to clean up the mess I've made" I reply.  He looks down slightly hurt.  "Are you in the market?" I ask.  "For what?".  I smirk.  "The biggest payday of your life".

No one's POV:

Fallon and Liam are in the courthouse currently getting married, it's all part of Fallon's plan to screw over Jeff after he lied to her. 

Liam's POV:

I didn't realise until it was too late that I just married Fallon Carrington.  The Fallon Carrington.  I only noticed once the papers were drawn and it was official.  As of now I'm married to a Carrington, although not for long because once Fallon's succeeded in her plan I'll no longer be needed.

No one's POV:

It's the day of Fallon and Jeff's wedding and Fallon is getting ready.

"Everything will go right, not long to go until this is over", Fallon quietly gives herself a pep talk.  "How's my daughter doing?", Blake says entering Fallon's bedroom.  "Peachy" Fallon sassily replies.  She's nervous, why wouldn't she be?  It's her wedding day yet happy is not the emotion she's currently feeling.  "I'll be walking myself down the isle today" Fallon states bluntly.  "I thought that was the father of the brides duty?" Blake asks, clearly confused.  "Yea, it's supposed to be.  Although you've turned this day into a nightmare.  Today's supposed to be the happiest day of my life, the day all little girls dream of, except it's not a happy day" Fallon's eyes begin to pool with tears.  "Fallon today is all just a charade you remember that right? We have our team inside the Colby's house right now".  "Is that all you care about?" Fallon's voice quietly breaks.  "Well today it is yea".  "God you're unbelievable, all you care about is keeping your image clean".  "Fallon you know that's not true, but we're so close to finally getting what we need on the Colby's.  You're blowing this out of proportion".  Fallon stands still trying to control her anger.  "You can leave.  I'll be finishing this nightmare you've created alone".  Blake stares at Fallon in disbelief.  "Leave!" Fallon shouts.  Blake heads out, leaving Fallon with her thoughts.

Everyone is seated and Jeff is waiting for Fallon at the altar.  From the corner appears Fallon in her beautiful white dress, holding a small bouquet of flowers.  All heads turn to meet Fallon. "You've got this", she quietly says to herself.  Music begins to play and everyone stands, she begins to walk down the isle, taking everything in.  Once she makes it to the altar she's met with Jeff's eyes looking into hers.  Liam gazes at Fallon intently, mesmerized by her beauty.  It's silly really, already catching feelings for a woman he barely knows, but who wouldn't?

It's after the ceremony and everyone is chatting and having a good time. Sam and Liam are talking. "So how'd you know Fallon?" Liam asks.  "Well it's your classic slacker boy meets girl boss story.  Technically it's boy fell for girls brother, boys aunt married girls father then girl hired boy even though he ransacked her house and ruined Christmas story".  Liam tries to take in everything Sam just said. Fallon and Jeff make their way to Blake's office to sign the papers.  "What the hell are you doing!? Why would you go through with this? Blake storms in.  "Well I'm a big girl daddy so if I wanna give 25% of my shares to Jeff I will" Fallon says proudly.  "No you can't not without my signature" Blake states.  "Actually she only needs the signature of the Chief operating officer which she already has", Crystal chimes in.  "Along with Morell Corp and 25% of Colby Co".  "Sorry Blake, guess you can't win em all" Jeff smugly says.  "But I can.  My offer clearly states that my Carrington Atlantic shares are yours only once we're legally married".  "Seems pretty legal to me", Jeff says showing off his ring.  "Well unfortunately bigamy is illegal in the state of Georgia, you can't actually marry someone if they're already married to someone else".  "What are you talking about?" Jeff asks confused.  Suddenly Liam walks through.  "This is Liam, my husband", Fallon says proudly.  "I'm sorry what?" Sam asks clearly puzzled.  "Sam's date is your husband?" Steven asks.  "My marriage to Liam is completely legal which means ours isn't and neither is my contract.  Read the fine print, as I said, unless we're married my CA gift to you is void.  But you didn't include anything like that in your contract, which means Morell Corp and 25% of Colby Co are still mine".  Jeff is completely stunned along with his sister and father.  "I'm sorry what just happened?", Steven asks.  "Why didn't you tell me about this plan of yours?" Blake asks Fallon.  "You put me through hell".  "Maybe you deserved a trip to hell" Crystal says.  "I did come to you to ask for your help but you were too busy helping yourself, and instead of reprimanding me now, you should be thanking me because I basically saved your ass.  So just take the win and walk away".

"You think you've won? I've got-" "You've got nothing Jeff, we have your servers!" Fallon shouts.  "You thought you could screw me over to steal my father's company from beneath him".  "Your father is the reason my family fell apart!" Jeff matches her tone.  "Even if that's true what did I ever do to you?".  Jeff stands still not saying a word.  Fallon storms out, anger raging throughout her body.

Fallon sits alone at the dining table taking in the events of the day.  "We really have to stop meeting like this" Liam jokes as he takes a seat next to her.  "Thanks for the whole husband thing today, it's not everyday a man is willing to go full crazy for a girl".  "Really? You seem the kind of girl guys would do anything for" Liam laughs.  "Well offering them a fat cheque helps".  "Certainly doesn't hurt" they both laugh.  "I'll venmo you.  What's your last name again?".  "It's Ridley.  Liam Ridley" he extends his hand for a polite handshake.  "Well Liam Ridley, it was a pleasure to marry you" Fallon kindly says.  "And a pleasure to be married to you, Mrs Ridley" Liam smiles.  "At least until Monday and we can get this whole thing annulled and get back to life as we know it".  "After tonight I'm not sure that's possible" Liam states.  

ahh i hope this was okay, I know that this is mostly following the script of the episode but i wanted to start of strong.  following the rest of my chapters i'll probably be rewriting it in my own words so i hope it all makes sense.  if anyone even reads this i will most likely not update that often as i just had a impulse to write tonight but if people want me to i'll continue this story
