Chance Encounters

Chapter 3

"May I ask you guys something?" I ask to take the attention off of me.

"Nae, Noona." Jeongguk answers.

I blush when he calls me 'Noona'. "Will you tell me something about the next comeback?"

"Top secret!" Yoongi answers.

"Can't discuss it!" Seokjin adds.

"Important business!" Hoseok adds.

I let out a little laugh remembering Yoongi and Hoseok saying that before.

"When the album comes out... you'll find out." Taehyung says, cutely.

I frown. "Fair enough. So, which of the army theories is right?"

"And why would we tell you that?" Jimin questions me.

"We'd rather hear your theory." Namjoon adds.

I twiddle my fingers together. "My theory is kind of stupid. And many theories have trumped my theory but I still like my theory."

"Tell us." Seokjin coaxes me.

I take in a deep breath. "The only one that exists is Seokjin. The six of you are a figment of his imagination. All of the things happening to the six of you is actually happening to Jin. But he imagines that it is happening to the six of you. But things change during Blood Sweat and Tears."

"What happens?" Taehyung asks.

"Seokjin made a deal with the devil to make his six imaginary friends real. But this deal causes a ripple effect in all parallel universes. These six new characters are trying to find their place. Their memories feel like their own and yet not their own. But Seokjin bears the most pain because he is split into seven now almost like Voldemort splitting himself into seven. The only difference is Voldemort did it to gain immortality and Jin only wanted to find people he can call his own. All this causes conflict. Now even though Seokjin has his people, nothing seems to be right. Something or the other seems to goes wrong. To correct these wrongs, Jin is either turning back time or travelling through different timelines to find the happy ending. Making a deal with the devil has its consequences. This is all I got till now. Like I said, it's been trumped by a lot of theorists." I sigh.

"That sounds good." Yoongi looks impressed.

"Wow! Woooooooow!" Hoseok exclaims.

"You guys are just indulging me. I know, it's stupid. I've seen so many theories that seem to fit more to the storyline." I tell them.

"It's not stupid. That's how you see it." Jimin tells me.

"Just because your interpretation is different from others, it doesn't mean it's stupid. I, personally, like this interpretation." Namjoon assures me.

'Oh my God! Namjoon likes my interpretation. UWU!'

"This is very intense." Seokjin tells me.

"Thank you, I guess."

"Veronica noona, everyone sees it...differently. It is open." Taehyung says.

'Awwww.....I'm so touched. Look at them trying to make me feel okay about my thoughts.'

"Look! The sun is setting." Jeongguk says.

We watch the sun set in silence. We watch various colours play with the darkening sky. Just as the sun touches the water surface, I look at each of the BTS members and smile to myself.

'Thank you, God or Universe or Multiverse or Fate or whatever made this happen, thank you! This is one of the best moments of my life.'
