After a few weeks of shopping for furniture at IKEA, Target, and Amazon while going to my almost daily night recording sessions and my nine to five weekday job at Target, I was finally happy with how cute my little apartment looked. It's not 100% there yet but it's enough. Especially since I'm probably going to become so busy like kind of already am and if everything works out, I will move out after my contract expires.
When you enter, there is a tan mat with 'Welcome' written in black I bought from IKEA on the dark chestnut brown floor.
To the left, there is a very small window and to the right is a very large window with some cheap vertical blinds. I didn't feel like it offered me enough privacy, especially since I am a girl living alone on the first floor with neighbors facing me. So I bought some light blocking sky blue curtains from Target along with a single antique dark silver curtain rod that had the hardware included from Target. I bought them together at the same time so I know how they would look together. There is a simple long black lamp that was on sale at IKEA.

After that, there is a simple black and clear glass entertainment center for the tv and some decor pieces. There are mostly just candles and a few decor items from IKEA that I was able to find for cheap. In the other corner there is another black lamp. I like symmetry. Over the entertainment center the center, there is a simple wall clock from Amazon.

On the other side of the room, on the right side, there is a biege four seat sectional couch from IKEA. Behind the couch in the corner there is another same black lamp. I know there are a lot of lamps but there are no ceiling lights so I have to buy a bunch of lamps instead. I should have noticed that when I bought the place but I didn't.
Anyway, on the other side of the couch is a white tray side table from IKEA. It's great for my lonley movie nights.
