To be clear, this poem and the ones to come have nothing to do with the first one  :)

Watching the sun fade into the soft western sky
Hearing the birds herald in the night, cool and dim
Wishing my heart would vanish, or these feelings fly away

Why, oh Western sky, does beauty pain me so?
On the sunlit day, when gold rays shine in the greensward,
my heart feels sad within, a knife pierces my soul at sunset

The Night is my friend, and pray do not think ill of me for it
The distant stars are calm and gentle, salve upon my sorrows
Upwards my heart spirals, longing for peace among those silver lights
