Chapter 9 Jordan P.O.V

I parked the car. I took a glance at the clock. It was 11:00. Almost midnight. I took the keys out of the ignition. I hung the back backpack around my shoulder. I put crystal’s phone and My phone in my back pocket. I unlocked the car and went around to the passenger’s seat. I opened the door and picked crystal up bridal style. I closed and locked the door. I went to the front door and opened it. I walked in and christain was walking down the stairs.

“So how did it all work out at the bar with trey,” I asked.

“He took the necklace and left” He replied.

“Thats good. One less thing to worry about. Now we can focus on the girls. You know our vacation ends soon,” I said.

“Yea I know. I was thinking we could go out and party The day before we have to leave. You know to clear our minds,” Christian said.

“Yea I think that would work out.” I said.

“You and Crystal should get some rest. We have to attend a party tomorrow,” He said.

“Who’s throwing this party,” I asked curiously.

“Griffin’s parents are throwing this party. To celebrate his birthday. We have to attend,” He replied.

“I hate him,” I added.

“I know we all do,” he said.
“Now crystal and I are going to bed,” I said. He nodded and I walked up the stairs. I walked to our bedroom, I open the door and walked inside. I closed and locked the door behind me. I turn the lamp on and walk to the bed. I lay crystal down. I plug our phones into the charger. I start to walk away but I feel a tug on my shirt.

“Where are you going sunshine? She said.
“Well I was thinking of going to sleep,” I said with a laugh.

“On the sofa,” She said surprised.

“Yes,” I added.

“NO you will sleep on the bed with me,” She said.

“Um crystal you okay,” I asked.

“Yes I’m perfectly fine, but you on the other hand will sleep on the bed next to me okay,” She said confidently.

“Okay if you say so,”I said. She got up out of bed and walked toward the bathroom. I unlocked my phone. I went on to facebook. I checked on serenity’s latest posts. I heard the bathroom door open. I locked my phone and turned around. She came out of the bathroom wearing an oversized hoodie and athletic shorts. She turned the lights off and closed the bathroom door. She walked up to bed and sat down. I walked to the other side and laid down. She turned the lights off.  

“Why are you sleeping so far away from me angel. You’re practically shivering,” I said.

“I-I-It’s Fine,” she said. I grabbed her by the waist and pulled her towards me. Then, she took one of my arms and used it as a pillow. My put my other hand went around her waist.

“Isn’t that better? I asked.

“Yea. I’m not that cold anymore,” she said.  She put her hands around me.

“What are we? She asked.

“What do you mean? I asked back.

“Are we a couple or best friends that are close to being couples,” She asked back.

“We are best friends that are close to being couple, because I haven’t asked you yet,” I said with a smirk.

“Wipe that smirk off your face sunshine, but what I said earlier. I meant it,” she said.
