"Christian, Crystal ! Can please come here for a moment I need to talk to you," said mom.

"Be right there," We yelled. We turned off my laptops and rushed into our parents master bedroom.  

" Okay. We have to tell you something. It might change our lives. So listen carefully and don't interrupt us," Said mom. She had that i'm serious look on her.

"Your father and I have to go away on a research trip to haiti and we have to leave today. Our flight is in an hour. The sad part is that we have to stay there for about a year and we can't take you along. So I want you to pack all of your clothes cause you're staying with the vega's for the year. We are really sorry. I know we never get to spend time with you. I really am sorry. We both are," said mom.

" It's okay," we both said. Okay this was getting annoying. He keeps on copying me.

I walked upstairs to my fuschia colored room and started packing up all my clothes. I was done in half an hour. We all got in the car and drove to tori's home. The car was going to stay with my brother.

"Are you okay? christian asked quietly.

"Yea I'm Fine. Why do you ask? I whispered.

" Well When mom was talking to us you seemed distracted." He whispered.

" Oh um don't worry about that. It nothing," I said quietly.

"If you say so but remember. You can always talk to me. I maybe older but I still care about you. If there's anything that you consider a secret and you don't want mom and dad to find out then talk to me about it okay. I love you and I want to be there for you," he said quietly.

"Yea thanks," I told him quietly. Then I gave him a hug.

When we were done talking. We had reached tori's home.

"We are here. I will contact you once we had reached our facility said mom.

We said our goodbye and then they left for they airport.We walked up to the porch.

"YOU'RE HERE!!!!! We have a lot of catching up to do," said tori as she threw her arms around me. I look over at christian. He seemed upset. I could guess why. I mean I was getting all of tori's attention.

"Yes we do but um isn't there someone else you might want me to spend some alone time with? If you can't think of anyone. I could scream that person's name," I said with a smirk.

"UH.....no you don't have to scream that person's name," Tori said.

Christian walked past me and went up to tori. His hands went around her waist. He pulled her in close and said," Why go ahead? It's not like we did anything that we might have to hide. Right Tori? He said with a smirk. Her cheeks went rosy red. She buried her face in his chest and whispered ," Why did you have to bring that up? You must really love to embarrass me."

"Actually I just really love you,'' He said. He leaned in close.

" uh hum! When you guys are done flirting. Can we go inside? It's getting chilly,'' I said.

"OH yea. come on in. Crystal you're going to share a room with me. So you can unpack your stuff. I cleared some space up for you in the closet and drawers,'' Tori said.

"Okay thanks," I said. I walked up stairs,to tori's room and started to unpack. I unzipped the suitcases. I put all my clothes away neatly in an empty drawer. All that was left was my backpack to unpack I only had a couple of clothes to put away. As I unzipped my backpack I saw was my old rusty pocketknife. I took the knife and put in the last empty drawer. Then quickly covered it with clothes. I was all done. Now I just need to get my medicine from christian.
