The look in their eyes, the smile on their face,
they don't say much, all they do is gaze.
Their love for each other, only ever grew,
but she eventually grew wings, and away she flew.
Every second they talked, was too blissful for words,
they both loved till date, even if they were in separate worlds.
He used to be calm, caring, gentle and sweet,
she was a bit heartless, but he made her complete.
Even though both of them, have a connection of the heart,
they couldn't stay that way, good things fall apart.
There came an unfateful day, when she had to leave,
and all that was left, was the memories he could keep.
Unlike most stories, this one never ended,
their chapter is just paused, as if left pending.
He still loved her, with all fragments of his heart,
she was left broken, leaving him made her hurt.
Seeing their love, lie unfinished and incomplete,
I myself question, wasn't their story too sweet?
And I still wonder, why did it fall apart?
Was it loss of effort, or was it broken hearts?
She realized a little late, but he never gave up,
They tried making up, tried to patch up.
How I knew all of this, is a story for another time,
For now I'm just waiting, to see their story come back to life.
