(Literally but this is a scwary horror story)
(Based off true people's stories but fictional characters)
My parents decided to leave to go on a date they left me, my little brother, and my older sister alone. We decided to watch some TV plus it wasn't time for us to you to sleep. My brother insisted on watching something that cartoonish and animation that isn't scary, I agreed with him too, but my older sister decided to take the controller and put what she wanted.
It was a horror film that was animation but I didn't want to watch something scary while being home alone so I asked her "Why that Vero you know Paul is still a little kid and so am I and we don't like scary movies or horror films, right Paul?" Paul shook his head but she answered "it's not scary Valen you and Paul are just overreacting I've seen this film once and I swear nothing is scary about it." I decided to believe her and just watch the film with her and Paul.
It was a happy movie till the horror part when I started to hear scratching coming for the walls. I thought it was just our pet or Paul being annoying but I when I turned around no one was there.
I tried to call our parents but they didn't answer and when they did they said "Please take out the trash Valentina we forgot to and I think your sister is tired enough." So I went downstairs to grab the trash when I was about to go outside I heard some noises. I decided to check out the window and it was some guy wearing a ski mask going through what looked like a bag. I rushed upstairs to tell my sister to come downstairs and when she look outside the window the man wasn't there anymore. She told me "Ugh, Valen stop overreacting again it was probably some animal outside going through the trash." "But Vero I swear I saw some dude in a ski mask going through a bag maybe trying to find something." I answered, but she still didn't believe me and said "maybe one of the neighbors were taking out the trash and stop to count money or something like that." She left to go back upstairs with Paul so I just decided maybe she was right, but why would the neighbors wear a ski mask in the afternoon?
I went outside with the trash to put it in the garbage when something grabbed my leg and tried to pull me. Thankfully I shook it off and it went away. I thought it was just a raccoon trying to find food or something so I didn't worry that much, plus I didn't want to look stupid again trying to tell my sister that something was grabbing me, she wouldn't believe me anyways.
I decided to stay in the kitchen for a bit before I went back upstairs and made myself a midnight snack. After I finished eating it someone knocked on the door. It was an old lady, so I decided to open the door. When I did she montioned me to follow so I decided to lie to her and say "Oh, my parents are here and they don't like me being around with people." She went away and I shut the door. I decided to go into the backyard and sit on the chair that was there. I took a nap but then I heard a strange voice say to me "Valentina, you have to get up now." When I woke up no one was there. I just thought it was my sister trying to pull a prank on me or just voices in my head telling me to get up so I did. I went back upstairs when my sister said "VALENTINA! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN I WAS WORIED!" I just sighed and decided to say "I went to take out the trash, after that I made myself a midnight snack and went outside after I finished it and accidentally fell asleep." I didn't want to tell her about the hand that tried to grab me, the old woman who probably tried to kidnap me, or the voice that told me to get up because she wouldn't believe me.
We decided to watch a movie the one that Paul wanted to watch so no more spooks. It was pretty good, not scary nor creepy, but just then I heard really loud thumps on the ceiling. I asked Veronica if she heard it but she just answered "Ugh, Valentina stop it with your little creepy stories they'll scare Paul just watch the movie and maybe you'll nerves will calm down." I decided to take her advise and watch the movie with her and Paul. Then I heard footsteps outside. Maybe it was the neighbors outside I thought so I just kept looking at the TV. Then someone came inside.......
