"I'll never settle down,
I love to run around,
I love to be wild and free,
And I want to love me. "
These excuses I made,
Because I was afraid,
If I did settle down one day,
My heart would just delay.
It would delay to feel,
I would lose my zeal.
You wouldn't be so nice,
I found love once; I paid the price.
I didn't want to settle down ever,
But I couldn't be alone forever.
And I was scared of the future,
Because I'd been hurt before,
And I was sick of always settling,
For things that were upsetting.
And I was afraid of you,
You were so new,
You were too kind,
And I was foolishly blind.
But when I saw, I was sentimental,
That for you, I didn't have to settle.

PoetryThis is just a little collection of poems and words that flow from pen to this virtual form of a dead tree in order to stem the passion that's bursting inside me.
