"You look so beautiful," Diana smiles.

"Thanks, but mother I feel uncomfortable in this," Alexandra sighs.

"Beauty hurts. I know the corset is bothering you, but you need to impress the princes. Maybe the even the King," Diana says.

The dress was a light green and had pink flowers on it. The bottom of the sleeves were puffed out and there was lacing in the back.

"Okay, I guess you're right," she tries to smile.

Her dad comes into the room and smiles.

"Alexandra, you look very beautiful. I can't wait for Leo to see you," Samuel says.

"Who's Leo?" Alexandra looks upset.

"He's no one sweetie. Samuel, just why?" Diana scolds him.

"I thought you told her. Anyways, we are going to the ball in a bit," he informs them.

"Father, I can't-" Samuel interrupts her.

"Jasmine will be there," he smiles.

She hesitated, but stayed quiet.

(I tried my best to study a little bit on the 1800s fashion and stuff like that. Forgive me if my descriptions are inaccurate.)
