"Ari? Que pasa?!" Mami asked, shocked.
To recap, I was so pissed off, I didn't talk to him and sulked.
Luke didn't like that.
He tried to get my attention and kept apologizing.
After a while, he got out of the water, and I ordered him to help me out, since it was too slippery for me to get out on my own and because it was his fault I was in there in the first place.
He pulled me out of the water and apologized once again, probably because he felt bad or he felt the second hand embarrassment.
I'll go with the first.
He handed me a towel and we walked inside his house.
"Mami, don't ask," I said, fuming.
"Luke Joel Arista! What did you do?" Selena yelled, emerging from the kitchen.
Before he could answer I beat him to it.
"He threw me into the pool, with my clothes on!"
Unexpectedly, Selena and Mami shared an amused look and they burst out laughing.
Luke looked relieved.
I glared at him.
"Luke, you should know better than to make a girl angry." Mr. Arista said.
"Oh of course, Andrew, you'd know from experience," Selena said, playfully glaring at him.
They were such a sweet couple.
Selena turned to me.
"Sweetie, go upstairs with Luke, he'll get you something dry and warm to wear. Won't you, Luke?" She said, sternly.
Luke nodded and I followed him upstairs.
From the corner of my eye, I felt Bella glaring at me.
Dios mios, what did I do now?
"Speedy, I'm sorry." Luke said, turning to me.
I glared at him and looked away. I was still mad at him, and my teeth were still chattering.
"It's not like you have anything to be embarrassed off, you know? You look hot as hell, especially in your bra." He said.
Did Luke Joel Arista just call me hot?
Heat rose to my cheeks and I rolled my eyes.
He was playing me.
He smirked, and walked to his drawer.
He pulled out a clean dry hoodie and tossed it to me.
My eyebrows knitted together in confusion.
"Wear it." He said, as though it were obvious.
My eyes widen.
"No. I'm not wearing your clothes." I said stubbornly.
"Fine, then don't complain when you catch a cold." He said, rolling his eyes.
I sighed, and walked towards his bathroom.
"Where are you going? You know, you can just change here? It's not like I haven't seen anything before." He said cheekily.
I rolled my eyes and flipped him.
"In your dreams, Arista, in your dreams," I said, walking into the bathroom and locking it.
"I'll be dreaming about it, for sure!" He yelled, chuckling.
Pervert.
I dropped the towel to the floor and pulled my shirt off.
