Poem 4: The Boy In The Hall

I can see this strange new world.

A world of love and affection.

My eyes: glazed and pearled.

By your captivating complexion.

The world of lovers and dreamers,

of those who show love.

The planners and schemers,

who won't go down with just a shove.

This world of my life surrounding me,

in ways that I can't imagine.

Wondering who I'll turn out to be,

in this world that I live in.

The love of your heart beating inside.

Destroying my self hatred.

Thinking of all the times I've lied,

saying: "I'm just to faded."

This strange new world,

where love conquers all.

My heart has been whirled.

By you: the boy in the hall.
