Delaney's POV

"Harry! You came." I hear Remus say and I walk out of his office. "Now are you sure about this Harry? This is very advance magic well beyond the Ordinary Wizarding Level." Remus says. Harry looks at us. "I'm sure!" He said confidently. "Well everything is prepared. Today Delaney will help us, as she is the only other young witch/wizard that I know can produce this charm." Lupin says and Harry nods. I smile. The Perks of growing up and having Remus Lupin as a caretaker. "Now the spell I'm gonna teach you is called the Patronus Charm. Have you ever heard of it?" Lupin asks and Harry shakes his head and Uncle Remus looks at me and I take over.

"A Patronus is a very positive force. For the wizard who conjures one it works like a shield, with the dementor feeding on it rather then him. But in order for it to work, you need to think of a memory. Not just any memory, a very happy memory, a very powerful memory. Can you do that?" I say and he nods. "Now, close your eyes and concentrate. Explore your past, Do you have a memory?" Harry nods, "Allow it to fill you up. Lose yourself within it... then speak the incantation expecto patronum." I say. "Expecto Partronum." repeats Harry. "Very good." Remus says and we both walk to a trunk.

"Shall we? Wand at the ready." Remus says and Harry gets his wand out and ready.
Remus flicks his wrists and the trunk opens and a boggart comes out in the form of a dementor. Harry points his wand at the boggart, closing his eyes for a moment. "Expecto Partronum!" the candles blow out but nothing happens. "Expecto.... Expecto... Expect..." and with that Harry passes out and Remus goes over to him while I'm left with the boggart/dementor. I point my wand at it. "Expecto Patronum!" I say and my Patronus shields the boggart and I put back in the trunk and close it and then I use Lupins Light to light the candles agin.

"Here we go. Come on. Sit up. Deep breaths. Its all right. I didn't expect to do it the first time. That would of been remarkable. Here, eat this. You'll feel better." Remus says helping Harry up and giving him some chocolate. "Thats one nasty dementor." Harry says eating the chocolate.

"Oh, no, that was only a boggart Harry." I say playing with fire and he looks at me. "The real thing would be worst, much, much worse". Remus looked at him. "As a matter of interest, what were you thinking. Which memory did you choose?" Remus asks Harry. "The first time I rodea broom." He says. "Oh Harry, that's not good enough. Not nearly good enough." Remus said.  "There's another. Its not happy, exactly..." he says also playing with the fire on the candle, "Well it is. It's the happiest ive ever felt but its complicated."

"Is it strong?" Lupin asks and Harry looks at him and nods. "Well, let's give it a try. Do you feel ready?" Remus asks. "Just do it." says Harry pointing his wand. Remus opens the trunk and out pops the boggart and Harry points his wand. "Expecto Patronum!" and a stag shoots out of his wand along with a Patronus shield protecting hin from the boggart/dementor.

I stand beside Lupin as he laughs and Harry puts the boggart/dementor back in the trunk am I close it. "Well done Harry!" Uncle Remus and I say. "I think I've had enough for today." Harry says.

"Yes, sit down, here, Eat this, it helps. It really helps." Remus sits beside Harry and passes him some chocolate and I sit next to Lupin. "And just so you know Harry. I think you would have given your father a run for his money. And thats saying something." Uncle Remus says. "I was thinking of him. And mum. Seeing their faces. They were talking to me. Just talking. That's the memory I chose. I don't een know if its real. But its the best I have." Harry said, looking at Remus and myself.

***

"Beautiful day." Hermione says. I had to agree with her there, the weather was very nice today. "Gorgeous. Unless of course you've been ripped to pieces!" Ron says and I give him a confused look. "What on earth are you blabbing on about?" I ask him and I hear Hermione sigh. "Ronald here has lost his rat." She says and Ron interjects. "I haven't lost anything! Your bloody cats killed him!" Ron said. "That's complete rubbish!" Hermione said and she walks a little faster, I follow her.  "Harry, you've seen the way that bloodthirsty beast of hers is always lurking about! And now, Scabbers is gone!" Ron says. I shake my head. "Well, maybe you should take better care of your pets!"  I say strongly. "Hermione's cat killed him!" Ron argued; I just shook my head. I tried. We continued walking to the lake where Hagrid was standing, skipping rocks. "How did the hearing go, Hagrid?" I asked.

"Well first off the committee members took turns talking about why we were there. Then I got up and did my piece. Said how Buckbeak was a good Hippogriff, always cleaned his feathers. And then Lucius Malfoy got up. Well you can imagine. He said Buckbeak was a deadly and dangerous creature who'd kill ya as soon as you look at it." Hagrid says, still skipping rocks. "And then?" asked Hermione, all of us a little afraid of the outcome. "Then he asks for the worst, did old Lucius." Hagrid says. "There not sacking you, are they?" Ron says, frantically. "No, I'm not sacked. Buckbeak's been sentenced to death!" cried Hagrid and he throws a rock in the water. I stand up from the rock I was sitting on and started running towards the castle. I'm sure Hagrid and the Trio were confused. I find the closest fireplace and take the floo network to Malfoy Mannor.

I storm into the meeting room where I know everyone will be. "Why? Why would you sentence Buckbeak to death?!" I yell at uncle Lucius. "Why not? It hurt Draco." Lucius says, standing up from his seat. "Oh stop. All Buckbeak did was scratch Draco!" I retaliate. Lucius just stares at me. "You know what! I don't even know why I even bothered coming here!" I turn around and leave, going back to Hogwarts.
