I know I was supposed to update yesterday and on Tuesday but I've had a really busy week with school and on Sunday we had an Eid function too, sorry guys. Annabeth's pov
"Today we'll be switching lab partners." Ms. Semenchuk (real teacher, she a fucking bitch) my chemistry explained. She was probably only doing this to help us 'build teamwork skills and maybe even make new friends'.

"I swear to the gods if she puts me with Hayden again I'm going to murder her," Will whispered in my ear. I laughed maybe a little too loudly.

"Mr. Solace, Ms. Chase is there something you'd like to share with the rest of us?" Why do teachers always do this? It's so fucking annoying if I'm whispering that probably means I don't want to share it with everyone else.

"No, Mrs. Semenchuk." Will answered back in his most 'respectful' tone. Everyone cracked up. Ms. Semenchuk wasn't married probably because no one wanted to get married to a broke science teacher whose only personality trait is making 'jokes' in class. (guys I'm describing the real teacher, she was my year 7 English teacher)

She clenched her teeth. "That's Ms. Semenchuk to you. Not everyone wants to get married."

I had to step in or Will was going to earn himself more than a couple of detentions. I put on my 'my teacher's pet' voice as Will called it. (Trust me these exist, I have one) "Will didn't mean it, he just forgot. Didn't you Will?" I kicked him under the table. He scowled at me.

"Yes, I just forgot that you weren't married, I am truly sorry." He smiled an extremely fake smile. As soon as she turned away he mumbled. "That no one is stupid enough to marry an ugly bitch like you." I snickered it was kind of funny.

"Anyway, Here are your partners; Drew Tanaka and Hayden Mckay, Piper Mclean and Thalia Grace, Jason Grace and Leo Valdez, William Solace and Nico di Angelo, Annabeth Chase and Perseus Jackson, Ste-" I'm with Percy this is great. I'm so unbelievably happy that I am partners with the guy I don't have a crush on.

"Looks like the universe is giving you a sign," Will smirked.

"Shut up, it's giving you a sign too." I spat back. "Let's not pretend I'm the only one who's in love or some bullshit like that."

"Whatever, Annie."

"You may go off into your partners." Ms. Cementruck said. (real name nickname btw) Will left giving me a silent message that said "Stop denying it you like him." I rolled my eyes and walked over to my lab partner.

"So, Annabeth do you w-want me in to get the equipment," Percy said he looked red in the face maybe he had a medical issue.

"Sure, I'll get the ingredients," I said trying to look bored but of course, he just had to look that good. Why couldn't be ugly it would've been so much easier to focus.

I tried to reach the ingredients for the experiment but of course, I was too short. "Need some help there, Wise Girl?" Percy asked as he reached for the Acetone.

"Thanks," I said through gritted teeth. "But I don't need your help." I did a small Jeté or jump as you would call it in English and grabbed the Ethanol. He looked like a fish it was quite funny. "It's all about grace and beauty, Seaweed Brain." I giggled as I walked past. Why do I keep giggling?

We got to work. We didn't talk much it was really awkward actually. Until Percy blurted out, "Nico has the biggest crush on Will, you know."

"Wait what?" This was great. Will and Nico could finally become a thing. They were perfect together, unlike me and Percy that's something that would never happen. I've said it once and I'll say it again, Will and Nico are a literal match made in heaven.
