"bells, what are you doing" ej asked the girl. arabella had been skipping down the street dancing to music in her head. "im dancing you should join me" arabella giggled, it was the end of summer and in a week ej would be leaving her for high school, while she was just going into the eighth grade. ej smiled and and grabbed the girls hands spinning her around. her brown hair flew around as he spun her. they spent the rest of the walk to her house dancing and giggling down the street.
they spent the last week of summer the same way, together. either watching movies, going to the park, or just going on drives. to anyone else they would seem like they were dating. except they never got to that point because by the second week of school, ej was ghosting bella.
