Deku had been on the phone for quite some time now and Uraraka was wondering what was taking him so long. It also occured to her that she didn't know who he was calling.

I guess he's calling his mom to tell her he got a job as a hero? He's been in there for a while though. Maybe I should check on him. It's not like any of these agencies are going to be offering me a deal any time soon.

She stood up and made her way towards Deku's room where he'd locked himself in but before she could knock on the door her phone started ringing. Hoping it was an agency offering her a job, she bolted across the room and swooped up the phone into her hands. However when she saw who was calling she immediately felt deflated.

Oh. It's just Ryukyu. Was really getting my hopes up there.

She clicked answer and put the phone on loud speaker so she could sit down, listen and look over the potential agencies that she hadn't called yet.

"Hey Ryukyu" Uraraka said as she placed the phone down on the table next to her.

"Hey kid. How's it going?" Ryukyu asked on the other end of the phone.

"Great. Just great. How's your new arm?" she asked realising that it had been a while since she'd talked to Ryukyu and she'd had to have a prosthetic arm fitted after the Nomu ripped it off.

"It's amazing! That Mei Hatsume is a real genius. I'm not sure how it works exactly but it's incredibly advanced. It works a regular sized human arm while I'm not in my dragon form but the minute I use my quirk and become a dragon, it grows with me, adapting to my size and it hits like a truck" Ryukyu said having a small moment to be excited about her prosthetic. Uraraka couldn't help but smile. Losing a limb could be traumatising, debilitating and soul crushing for most people. However from what she was hearing Ryukyu was very happy and if anything it sounded like she was almost happy she'd lost her arm and upgraded to the new one.

"I guess being a cyborg dragon is pretty badass. Just don't make a habit of losing limbs and replacing them with cool prosthetics" Uraraka joked although part of her was serious.

"I promise I'll do my absolute best to keep the rest of my limbs. And yeah it's pretty cool. I wonder if Mei could implement some flame throwers or other support gear of some kind? Ah! I'm getting off track, enough about me. I didn't just call you to catch up" Ryukyu said realising that she was concentrating too much on her arm and the possibilities it held for combat. She'd called for a reason and she needed to get back on track.

"Oh? So, what did you call for?" Uraraka asked picking up one of Deku's contracts he'd been offered and seeing the money offered she almost fainted.

I should've told him to take this one.

"Well I just got off the phone with Midoriya" Ryukyu said. Immediately Uraraka was very interested in whatever Ryukyu was calling for. She was a uninterested before because she was fed up of rejection after rejection and she was kind of giving up on trying but now she knew who Deku had been on the phone with she was suddenly very excited although she didn't know why.

"Oh did you now? And what were you guys talking about?" Uraraka asked peeking over her shoulder. Sure enough Deku was stood there. She didn't know how long he'd been stood there for but she could see the enormous smirk on his face as he couldn't contain himself. He was far too excited about something.

What did you do?

"Yeah. He told me you're struggling to find an agency that'll hire you because you're pregnant. Congratulations by the way I had no idea" Ryukyu said realising that she hadn't congratulated the young girl on her pregnancy.
