Is that A Beetle?

"I'm sorry, Bagman offered you help, and you turned him down?" Frankie shook her head frustratingly, slapping Harry's arm, "You haven't got the slightest clue how to turn this tournament in your favour, do you?"

Harry shrugged, stepping back onto the path after the force of Frankie's blow had made him stumble slightly, "He wasn't offering the same to Cedric, wouldn't have been fair,"

"You do know this whole tournament is unfair, right?" Frankie responded,  "You are the most magically incompetent champion. It's called rebalancing the scales,"

"You really are the most supportive person in my life at the moment," Harry flashed her a toothy grin, rubbing his shoulder against her arm as she pushed him away with a scoff.

The two continued in silence, Hogsmede in their sights. They'd missed the carriage into town, Frankie being caught up in Blaise's possible break-up fiasco with the french boy - apparently, the boy didn't appreciate astrology as much as Blaise did, and it was causing problems - so they'd decided their best bet was to walk.

"Hey, Frankie," Harry spoke up, fiddling with his glove, "I'm sorry about-"

"Save it. You'll probably be a jerk to me later anyways," Frankie grinned, causing Harry's cheeks to turn red.

Harry nodded a slight smile on his face at the comment.

"By the way, how's Hagrid going?" Frankie asked, Harry's fondness for the groundskeeper returning to her mind, "with the whole defamation thing?"

Harry's jaw clenched as he kicked through the snow, "Can you believe Skeeter? How can she just blatantly lie in a newspaper?"

"I mean," Frankie shrugged, glancing into the window of Honeydukes, "It's not uncommon,"

"But it's Hagrid Frankie," Harry stressed, his hands shoved into his pockets - which she assumed were clenched.

He'd stopped for Frankie to search in the window, though his anger didn't subside with the break.

"What are you so scared of?" It was more of a statement than a question, "That he'll lose his job? He was- yes, wrongfully, but still- accused of trying to kill students, and parents were fine with him returning despite no one else being arrested. He's going to be fine,"
