Part two: Towa City Roller Rink

Where were they going? Why, The roller rink!

They had done it every Saturday when they were young, but had stopped around middle school.

My guess is that they felt it was too childish to keep doing when they were young. But, they decided to do it for old times sake

After walking hand in hand for a few minutes, they reached Towa City Roller Rink

Even though it bothered Shuichi that a roller rink refers to the surface that you roll on and not the place itself, but he didn't want to be nit picky

They went inside, and the familiar sights and smells and sounds filled them

It was just as they remembered. Same arcade games, same snack bar menu, same songs playing on repeat, same bumper car area, even the same workers surprisingly

Kaede went to get rollerblades, but Shuichi said that he thought that they should get normal roller skates, because they hadn't skated in several years

Kaede just shook her head and said, "It's fine! I remember how to do this." Shuichi stared at her, but just said "Fine."

They went out to the rink, and they started to skate

She almost fell a few times, so she grabbed onto Shuichis' hand for balance

While out there, they saw couples skating hand in hand, and they wondered if that could happen to themselves one day

Then, there was a voice over the loud speaker. It said "Alright everyone! It's time for the couples skate!" Kaede and Shuichi exchanged glances.

Shuichi grabbed her other hand, and Kaede blushed a little. Where had this happened before? They skated in unison, like it had been practiced and perfected. It felt like some sort of weird dream...

"Kaede?" Suddenly the spell was broken. "The couples skate is over, you can let go of my hands." Kaede snapped back into reality and quickly let go. "Oh! S-sorry..." she said. They awkwardly stared at each other for a moment

"I... think we should go." Said Shuichi. Kaede sighed. "Yeah. Lets go."
