A/N: Hey guys, I did say I'd see you soon.
I've had so many story ideas ever since the ending of Drowning In His Own Tears. All which I lost motivation to write after the first few chapters. But the idea for this one randomly came to me and I realized that I have never written something like this before.
I love reading mafia related books (Bittersweet Karma is my favorite one on wattpad) but I never could write one because I always thought I wasn't good at writing things that include mafia type violence. If you have read my other books, you can tell that I am more of a trauma, humor, and romance writer. However I've entered a new era of my life and I feel as though a new era entails a new writing era too.
Long story short, this book is more sarcastic and humorous than serious, of course there is romance but even the violence will be more sinister with humorous hues to it. There will definitely be triggers since there is violence and there will be some serious moments. As I usually do, in will insert a trigger warning PSA before the chapter but I'll also include one now too.
PSA: TW- VIOLENCE !!!
Also another PSA is that I obviously am a regular citizen who writes romcoms so I don't know anything about the actual mafia or crime bosses. I also don't know much about medical care, I do as much research I can on both topics to make it as realistic as possible. In other words this is PURELY FICTION and may seem UNREALISTIC to some. Don't take the violence or medical procedures to heart, it's not that serious !!!
