Shady mother

They say God couldn't be everywhere,
So he made Mothers for every place,
But there is a Mother somewhere
With a lesser grace.

A Mother with pride
With a tint of shady,
A bit cruel of a lady,
Cared for none but her baby.

Mothers love is eternal,
Her love was exceptional,
As it was but conditional,
Her baby was just a bundle of fortune.

Her baby saw her as kind,
Others could see she was wild,
Too hard to subside
The baby never saw lied.

The baby who grew up fatherless,
A striking image of him nonetheless;
The baby, now a Man, could see through her lies,
Could measure the fakeness of her tears.

The Mother when confronted by her own kin,
Confessed about all her sins,
Begged for his forgiveness,
Which was nothing but a sham.

The son felt the arms of betrayal
Covering his life at all levels;
Love just but a manipulation,
Warmth added to it with moderation.

He wanted none of her, even her shadow,
Severed all ties, to leave her hollow;
For the mother, this was a deep blow
She couldn't imagine herself in such a low.

First time, her evil was lost,
All her plans led to huge cost,
At last, she realised the folly of her ways,
What she sowed now she has to pay.
