violets are blue
we both love climbing
but I also love you
firstly, this is the actual poem I wrote on a little piece of paper put in an envelope and slipped inside his climbing bag on the evening of valentines day. my best friend helped me write it because even though I am usually good at poems, my knowledge was failing me. we met through our advanced climbing club where we became good friends. I wasn't sure until he told me if he liked me back.

I wanted to go with a pleasant start, writing it in the style of love letters or valentines from others.
{we both love climbing}
as it was what brought us together and we both love the sport I had to include it in my confession.
