Truth (Part 3)

Me and Sarah made dinner and it was the first time in a long time I felt like I had a family

I head downstairs from a shower and I see Bucky laying on the couch

"Hey." He says and I walk towards the crouch.

"Hi." I say as I get to his level, he brushes hair out of my face

I smile as I get on the couch and I crawl over to him

"Your so beautiful." Bucky whispers and I kiss him

"Can we sleepp? I'm tiredddd." I say as I pull away whining and Bucky laughs lightly

"How are you tried? You didn't do much today." He says and I roll my eyes

"Goodnight Bucky." I say as I rest my head on his chest

"Goodnight Evie." Bucky whispers and we both fall asleep, with no nightmares or all for the whole night.

I hear Sarah's kids playing but I keep my eyes closed so I can hopefully fall back asleep but I can tell Bucky's awake

"Hey!" Bucky says and I can hear the kids panic and I smile in my sleep

"Someone's awake." Bucky whispers and I sigh opening my eyes

"Morning." I whisper as I peck Bucky's lips

"Did you have nightmares?" I whisper and Bucky shakes his head as I smile and I lay my head back on his chest playing with his dogtags

"We need to go help Sam." Bucky says and I groan not wanting to leave this position we were in

"Do we have to?" I ask and Bucky nods, I sigh in defeat and I get off of him and I get up and grab some clothes

"I'll be out there soon." I say as I head upstairs to shower

I grab an apple to eat as I watch them working, Sarah comes out to join me on the porch

"You good with water pumps?" She asks and I shake my head

"Well I'm gonna need help the boat's water pump so, if you wanna learn how to fix it your welcome to help." Sarah says

"Sure why not." I say as we both walk towards the dock

We see Sam and Bucky working on it

"Okay, so..." Sam says

"Excuse me. No!" Sarah says as we walk towards them

"There should be a three-sixteenths bolt that goes in the big gear." Sam says

"Nope." Bucky says

"You didn't even look." Sam says

"I didn't have to." Bucky says as we stand in front of them and I notice Sam giving me a look and I stick my tongue out at him

"I told you specifically that the water pump was not the problem and yet, here you are." Sarah says

"Yep, Samuel." Bucky says

"In our defense, we were supposed to be done long before you woke up." Sam says

"That's not a good excuse Samuel." I say

"I don't come up to the sky to tell you how to barrel roll, so don't come down here and mess around with things you don't understand." Sarah says

"Then why's she here?" Sam asks meaning me

"She's learning Sam." Sarah says as she puts her hand on my shoulder

"Wow. Wow." Sam says as him and Bucky get up

"Bye. Off. Thank you, gentlemen."  Sarah says 

"Appreciate you." I say

"I Love you, bro." Sarah says and chuckle as Sarah motions me and two other people to come and sit down and we fix the water pump

We fixed the water pipe and I go find Bucky and Sam, I found them in the front throwing Steve's shield and I just sit and watch them, after a few minutes watching them I go join them

"Hi guys." I say as Sam catches the shield

"Hey Eva. Want a go?" Sam asks and I shake my head

"I can't throw a shield, Sam." I say

"You can throw a spear Eva." Sam says and I sigh

"Good point." I say as he hands me the shield

I aim and I throw the shield and it bounces off some trees and Sam catches it

"Nice job." Bucky says and I smile and I realize Bucky had his stuff and I realized we were leaving

"I'll go grab my bag." I say as I create a portal and I stick my hand in and I grab my bag

"I'll never get used to that." Sam says and I laugh as I hug him

"You know Karli won't quit." Sam says

"You call us when you have a lead, and we'll be there." Bucky says as we start walking

"Not necessarily as a team." Sam says

"Nope." I say

"We're not that good." Bucky says

"Definitely not." Sam says

"We're professionals." I say

"Definitely." Bucky and Sam say together

"And, uh, we're partners." Bucky says

"Co-workers." Sam said

"But we're also a couple of people with a mutual friend." Bucky says

"Friend's now gone" Bucky says

"So we're a couple of people." I say

"I can live with that." Bucky says

"Perfect." Sam says

"Thanks for the help, guys. Meant a lot." Sam says

"Of course." Bucky says and he grabs my hand

"Home?" I ask

"Home." He says as I rest my head on his shoulder as we walk to the car
