Later that day at the end of rehearsals

"Ok now we need to figure out two or three songs for you guys to do with Savannah." Brenda said, sitting us all down.

"Why? Can't I just do my own songs?" I asked.

"Of course. But I think a good way to transition from you to the boys would be to do some combined numbers so get brainstorming." She said before turning and leaving.

"Well...how are we gonna write three songs in a week?" I asked them.

"We can do it. We'll make it work." Corbyn said, getting up to get food.

"And if we don't?"

"Not making it work isn't an option." Daniel said, "we won't let it be. You'll be fine we'll all work together."

"Maybe we can take some of Savannah's original songs and work with those considering they're really good." I glared at Zach telling him to be quiet. I didn't wanna use my music.

"You have new stuff?" Jonah asked.

"Well...it's just stuff that I didn't really pitch to anyone..."

"Well let's hear something." Jack said.

"Give me some time to work on it ok?" I told them.

"Ok deal." Jonah said.

"Good. Now I have some writing to do. I'll see you guys later."

I said, getting up and leaving the boys behind.

That night

I was sitting on my bed trying to crank out some new music when I heard a knock at my door.

I walked over and opened it to see Corbyn standing in the doorway.

"Hey, just wanted to see how you were doing. I know Brenda gave you a lot of work." He said.

"Yeah...haha she did. But I think it'll all work out." I told him.

"How you doing outside of the music aspect?" He asked me.

"I'm good. The whole Zach thing is a little stressful but other than that I'm good."

"Why does the Zach thing stress you out so much?" He asked me.

"I honestly...don't...know..." I said, not sure myself.

"This might seem like a stupid question because, well, I think we both know the answer but you're not stuck on your ex are you?" He asked me.

"No of course not! But uh...I don't know it was a really bad relationship and I guess it just scared me for the future..." I told him.

"Is that what's holding you back from the whole you and Zach thing?"

"That's...part...of it..."

"He's a good guy, Savannah, remember that. I'm not saying you gotta jump into anything now but if that's what's stopping you, don't let it cause he's not gonna do that to you."

"Thanks Corbyn." I said, smiling at him.

"Yeah, of course. I gotta go but let me know if you need any help."

"I will. Thank you."
