Pt. 8 - Retracting my thoughts

Regina's POV

I cant believe this happened. Hunter actually went in the closet with her. I don't think I'm ready to tell him how I feel anymore. What if he liked her kiss or, THEY DID SOMETHING MORE?! I think it's better if I leave. I stood up

"Hey Regina, where are you going?"

I heard somebody tell me that.

"I'm going home. I forgot I needed to do some things" that was my response

I went out of the house and heard some footsteps coming out of the house. Somebody was running over to me.

Hunter's POV

I saw how Regina left, she can't leave alone, the sun is almost set and it can be dangerous. If I tell anyone that I'm leaving, Emily might know I'm going after Regina.

H: Hey guys I'm going to the bathroom. I feel a lil sick so don't come over me if I take my time😩

I know this will work it's the only way. If I say I'm going for a drink everyone will want me to bring for them😩 this will do😏😏

Everyone: HUNTER THATS TOO MUCH INFORMATION 😔😔😔
H: K bye😀

I went to the bathroom that's upstairs and went down through the window. I'm pretty used to doing that. I always do it in Regina's house😏

I saw her walking and ran faster than a cheetah 😩😩 and finally I got to her

End of Hunter's POV

Regina's POV

"REGINA WAIT!!"

That's what the deep voice said, I knew it was Hunter. I stopped and replied

R: "What's wrong?!"
H: The sun, it's getting dark. It's dangerous you know?!
R: Oh, so you came here just for me?
H: Of coarse. C'mon I'm not leaving you alone
R: Thanks, Hunter
H: Anytime and only for you

When he said that, I felt how my face got warmer. He placed his arm around me and pulled me closer to him

H: Hey Regina?

I hummed in response

H: What was the thing you were going to tell me?
R: Oh that, it doesn't matter anymore bahaha
H: Oh hell yes it does, what is it?
R: Oh um I just wanted to thank you for being a great best friend.

I felt my eyes watering. I couldn't take the image of hunter and Emily getting in the closet outta my head.

"We're here"

H: REGINAAAA WE'RE HERE.
R: OH YES WE ARE
H: You keep zoning out, why is that happening?!
R: Well idk hahah oh well, I'll see you later?!
H: Oh you don't want me to come in with you?!
R: Oh okay, if you want to you know?! I wanted to be alone sometime but well
H: Oh nonono i'll give you your space, don't worry. I love you. Well you know bahaha as a best friend

Hunter's POV

NO NOT AS A BEST FRIEND😩 I love her love her LIKE LOVE. I hate Emily, I should've let her kill her self 😏😏😏 wait no HUNTER YOURE NOT THAT MEAN stfu

R: I-I love you too. Now I'll see you tomorrow
H: Ok, call me if you need anything, k?
R: K

I closed the door went to my room, again alone, as always, nobody's at home just me, myself and I. I closed the door and fell in bed. I cried until I fell asleep, and got up by a knock on my window.
