Chapter 1

I'm reading an article about our school.

Luxent International School is one of the most well-known schools here in Philippines It is considered a school for riches.

My brother enrolled us in this school dahil maganda raw dito mag aral and Noemi agreed dahil maganda din daw ang uniform.

In luxent, Female students wear white plain long sleeve, black skirt, black coat, and black necktie. While Male students wear white plain long sleeves, black coats, black pants, and black neckties. Sa coat naman namin ay naroon ang logo ng school.

Naalala ko pa noong nakaraang araw noong unang pasok ko dito ay tinitignan nila ako at nag bubulungan tungkol sa mata ko at buhok ko.

Who wouldn't be?I have unique pairs of eye color, I have grey eye color, dark and wavy hair.

Na pagsabihan pako ng iba na sobrang arte dahil sa kulay ng mata , they really thought I'll waste my time for wearing contact lenses and curling my hair. Sometimes I think that not every one in this school is smart enough to figure out that my eyes are natural.

It's break time and I went to the library to read peacefully but these two went here to interrupt me. Mitch and Naya, are my cousins. Not by blood.

"can you please lower your voice?"I said, my eyes glued on the book I was reading.

"my gosh i can't believe it!"mitch said while biting her lips. "Naalala mo ba yung lalaki sa gym?sya yun!kaya nga lagi nakong nag g-gym!"Ibinaba ko ang librong binabasa ko at sabay napailing kaming dalawa ni naya

"We're in a library"Okay. I'm getting annoyed.

"what the fuck did he do to you and you act like this all of the sudden!?"tanong ni naya"he gave me his number ackk!!!!" she responded. their voice was getting louder and louder and I'm annoyed.

"I went here to read peacefully and if you're here to distract me then, please leave."I said, fixing my gaze on them"Woah Woah! No need for the short speech"Naya raised her hands"I count her words and she spoke 16 words!"

"One more word and I'll kick your asses out of this library."I warn. After the small talk, they finally leave the library peacefully.

I followed them as soon as they leave the library because I told them, next time I'll eat lunch with them together. they ordered lunch for me and for Noemi, but Noemi is not here pa dahil nag papalista pa sya sa cheerleading team.

They were having a little chitchat while eating and I'm quiet which is normal to them, mas makakapag taka kung maingay ako. Pag dating ni noemi ay mas lalong umingay ang mesa namin at dali dali ko namang inubos ang pagkain ko para maka alis na at maraming tao ang nakatingin sa amin. Tumayo ako pero hinawakan ni noemi ang laylayan ng coat ko.

"Hoy!tapos ka na?aalis ka na?pano na ako nakakarating lang?ayaw mo na ba sakin,four?"

Noemi is my Childhood friend and until now we still have each other. We were living together since we moved here, in Manila. Noemi isn't Noemi if she doesn't talk a lot and is short as a duck.

"I am Four Verhoeven, I study at Luxent International School as a Grade 11, Stem Student,"I replied in my sarcastic tone.

"you're not the four I use to know. Char, oh sge na umalis ka na esave mo nalang yang tenga mo sa chismis ko mamaya!"she said and laugh.

I went to the library, as usual. Reading while listening to my playlist feels good.

"Oh my! Sir, are you okay? are you hurt?"I didn't bother glancing to know what's happening.
