SYNOPSIS
Zora was an empath. She was able to understand what those around her were feeling, but it came at a cost. Constant emotions swirling around her, like a storm brewing inside her, her mind acting like a home to the emotions around her.
Marlene was the opposite. She never understood the feelings other people, fearing it would end up with her feeling the same. She had an unexplainable feeling of misery, only Zora knew, of course. No one else noticed that their best friend was slowly falling out of herself.
They were in the same world, but Marlene was a world alone.
