after some eventful weeks, the boys of stray kids thought it best for eunchae to rest in the dorms rather than at her apartment - alone. of course, they had informed the female of their thoughts and the girl agreed, feeling too numb to make an argument with her leader. on the day she was discharged from the hospital, chan had come with their group manager to take her back to her apartment to pack herself a few nights of clothes before returning to the stray kids' dorm. "got everything you need?" chan peeks his head into the female's room to see her sitting in the middle of the room holding a we bare bears plushie that a fan had given her during a fan sign event in 2019. the female glances up at the older male before glancing over to her suitcase that she had packed with mostly sweats and pyjamas - nodding her head slowly. chan smiles and waddles into her room, grabbing her luggage and rolling it out as she followed - eyeing her home studio that was across her bedroom. noticing her look to the studio, chan shook his head and gently pulled the girl away from the room that she slowly made her way to. "no~ no work for you eliana~" he sang, pulling her to the car where he opened the car door for the female whilst their manager placed her suitcase into the trunk of the car.
the car ride to the dorms was quiet, the soft sounds of chosen music by chan playing in the background to soften the awkwardness of the car. "do you guys want to get dinner as well? we'll be arriving home quite late due to traffic," their manager asked, glancing in the rearview mirror to eye the silent female and turned to look at chan.
"sure - what do you wanna get babygirl?" chan turned his head to eunchae who glances up from her phone after returning a message to raehyun who was questioning her whereabouts after hearing she was discharged.
"oh - um, i don't know?" the brunette cluelessly spoke, pursing her lips tightly as she thought for a moment before answering timidly. "we...could get chicken for everyone? or buy ingredients for a hot pot...?" she suggested to the two older males who glanced at each other and nodded in agreement.
"alright, i'll stop by the market and we can go get ingredients for a hot pot to share," their manager said, driving the car as the traffic light turned green. the car ride continues to be silent as eunchae began playing genish impact on her phone.

when they reached the dorms, felix came out to help chan and their manager with the groceries whilst eunchae carried her luggage to the best of her abilities. when they got into the dorm, eunchae immediately went to unpack whilst chan left the cooking to felix and minho - going to check on eunchae inside her room to find the female sound asleep. smiling, the leader of the group leaves her room in thought to wake the female up when food was served, entering his room to continue his work as the members continued doing their own things. when the food was ready, minho called out to everyone to come and eat whilst seungmin waddled over to wake eunchae up from her slumber under minho's orders.
knocking softly, the male peeked his head into the darkroom - the only light being from her hung fairy lights over her mirror that rested by the closet. eunchae laid in bed, barely covered by an extra blanket of hers, cuddling the we bare bear plushie she had been holding the entire time. seungmin approaches the female and lightly shake her shoulder, watching as she stirs in her sleep. "noona," he whispered, shaking her once again as she mumbles a response. "noona, dinner's ready," he tried once more to see the brunette opening her eyes slowly to see his face in her dimly lit room.
"seungmin? what's wrong?" she sleepily asked the male, sitting up in her bed - the blanket that covered her falling to cover her lap, the plushie laid on her bed.
the younger smiled and shook his head, pointing behind him to outside her bedroom inside the dorm. "dinner's ready - everyone's waiting for you to join us noona," he smiled as eunchae softly nodded, getting up from her bed and sleepily following seungmin outside the room and into the kitchen, taking a seat beside changbin as seungmin sat beside her.
"noona should eat first!" jeongin chimes, smiling at the older female - sitting in front of the girl who lightly giggles and tells the members they were free to eat before her, however, they insisted she ate first and review felix and minho's cooking.
"thank you for the food~" eunchae chimes lightly, dipping a piece of thinly sliced beef into the pot - watching it turn tan and curl up slightly before pulling it put and dipping into the sauce and eating it. covering her mouth as she chewed, she gave the members a thumbs up to indicate her approval of their food. "it's good! well done!" she smiled as the members returned the gesture and began eating themselves. throughout the night, the members mainly caught up on their lives and talked about what they planned to do for their vacation when they got one.
