"Y/n-ah! Don't go too far!"
"Me notoppa!Me wit Jungkook!!" The little girl runs with big steps, too much for her small feet, yet she continues with excitement. She smiles at the boy waving towards her, standing not too far from her. A boy almost of her size and she giggles at how his hair keeps irritating his eyes due to the heavy winds.
"Jungkook-ah!" Of course, her brother cares too much.
"Nothing happen, Hyung-ah!" The small guy shouts back, already a little irritated at the winds.
Small Y/n almost too roughly holds onto Jungkook's little hands, taking the kid by surprise too for a second. But seeing the panting girl, he only laughs. "You-you live far!! You should live wit me!"
"One day, Y/n-ie, I'll take you wimme!" The boy states with a proud smile to which the girl only laughs, "My Appa not allow you, pabo!"
"No problem, my Appa can talk."
"Pabo-ya! Now let's go to the lake!!"
Hands in hands, the two little kids run towards their one and only secret place: the Okda Lake, not too far from Jungkook's place but Y/n had to walk a lot. Two royal kids alone weren't allowed too far from their places without any assistance and security. Yet they had started taking such courage from a young age, Min Yoongi, being their only helper. Min Yoongi was a wise kid who loved her younger sister a little too much to sometimes be a little less wise. He had his eyes on the kids the entire time and his sword in his other hand. It was just another day to the little escape of the kids. The winds were a little violent and Yoongi did not like that for today. After some while, a cat purred at Yoongi's feet but what caught the boy's attention was the different eye colour of each of its eye. The cat was clearly asking for something. Irritated and taking one last glance at the kids, he gets up and looks around his surroundings to satisfy the cat's supposed hunger.
"Guk stop it!" The boy does not and keep splashing water on the girl in front of him, enjoying her little shrieks and giggles. Poor girl's frok was almost half soaked from her feet while she stood in the water and the other half, Jungkook was working on. Y/n has her eyes now closed due to the water and she rests on her knees in exhaustion. Jungkook then stops and bursts into a laughter. Y/n giggles and looks up to the little Jungkook laughing too hard to even open his eyes. Her giggles stops and her face now holds no expression as she looks at a figure trying to hide behind a tree not too far from them. Jungkook's too busy laughing but Y/n feels something weird in her stomach. She makes out only black from a far and remembers how her father had told her, black means danger. She stands up and holds Jungkook's arms to wake him up from his fun. Jungkook still smiling looks at Y/n and teases her more. She looks back and the figure is gone. Jungkook then looks at where Y/n's eyes have been, "What is it, Y/n-ie?"
"I think I saw black."
"black?" Jungkook chuckles while looking here and there, "No, there is no black, you must be dreaming!"
"hmm... I think we should head home now."
"What? too soon? Yah! Are you scared? And you call me Pabo?"
"But Guk I don't feel good now plej..."
"It's please, you should focus more on studies pabo!!"
"Yah!" Annoyed she now splashes some water on Jungkook taking him by surprise which turns into a fight by Jungkook.
Y/n starts to run out of the water and trips on the stones scratching her knee, her eyes instantly brim with tears. Jungkook rushes to her side, "Hey, it's okay, I'll blow it, it be good!"
With teary eyes and a smile she looks at Jungkook but before she could say anything, the black appears again, this time more real and more in number. She shouts Jungkook's name in fear but before Jungkook could look back, an arrow hits the side of Y/n's leg. It barely misses it. Jungkook takes Y/n's hands and looks behind but what he sees consumes him with fear too. He looks all around him and sees men dressed in black with arrows and swords. There is no place to run and Y/n's sobs on his back, only scares the boy more. She holds onto Jungkook for dear life, refusing to open her eyes and calls for her Appa. Before the men could attack more, two men, right in front of them, lay flat down on the ground by an abrupt attack from behind and Jungkook sees their saviour, Min Yoongi with a bloody sword asking him to run towards him. He takes the girl's hand and runs as fast as he can towards Yoongi, at that they are showered by arrows. Only miracles saving them. Yoongi takes little Jungkook's hand and they hide behind a tree, not too safe yet not too much in danger. Y/n doesn't let go of Jungkook and cries even harder after looking at Yoongi. "I'm sorry, my little girl, I'm a little late, aren't I?"
"Hy-hyung, whattdo-"
"shsh first of all be a big guy hmm? Y/n you too, you're a big strong girl, aren't you?"
"O-oppa but-"
"Shsh... stop crying and do what oppa tells you."
It's three kids and a lot of black in Y/n's eyes, yet she follows her older brother's commands and keeps running with Jungkook seeing her brother distract the black. She feels weak and useless and wants to help her older brother yet she knows she can't. It's only running for her but her brother says only big girls have this courage too. Her little heart hasn't ever beaten this hard in her chest or so she thinks, as it almost stops, when Jungkook trips badly and falls to the ground taking her with him but the cause only frightens her even more, if possible. An arrow barely misses Jungkook's left shoulder, scratching his arm and the sleeve a little. A scream escapes her throat at what more can happen if this can, she looks back at her brother resting on his knees before the black, and another scream leaves her mouth even louder than before, she thinks this might be the end and she won't ever see her Appa ever again. She cries trying to get a hold of Jungkook, the boy stands up with a slight hiss, whispering anxious I'm Okays to his best friend, still refusing to look back, takes the girl's hand and continues the run, "I'm okay, all-all is okay, don't l-look back and and k-keep running!"
She can't help but look back at her brother and slowly her grip on Jungkook's hand starts losening. Jungkook grunts in frustration, "Y/n!"
Too late, her hand is now free and she is now running where they weren't supposed to. Jungkook's steps ironically don't stop, yes they aren't as fast as before but they don't halt. His eyes widening at what he sees now that was behind them. Yoongi on his knees with a sword held on his throat, two other men, their faces hidden with back masks, standing beside him, and two men following him only now. One now facing the crying girl trying to rescue her brother, as if waiting for her arrival. All of their faces are covered and they look like the bad men Jungkook's father had warned him about. A tear escapes Jungkook's eye now, as he looks at the little Y/n crying for her oppa's help, "OPPA!! NO! NO HURT MY OPPA!!!"
